As someone that comes from a religious family but doesn't really believe, I'm exposed to a lot, and I mean a LOT of christian music, and while I can respect any one else's taste in music, this song (first I hear from you guys) is the first christian song I actually enjoyed (heck, I came from the ad that was playing this just to post this). I guess that regardless of the message in the lyrics, you didn't forget to add good music. Keep it up.

I play in my church band each week and I have to say, while the message is positive, many of the songs are just not great...they are mass produced and released to make money so fast, they don't feel genuine. We wanted our music with Diamonds to Dust to be something that EVERYONE, regardless of beliefs, can love - simply because the music is good. The message can be spread better that way! Often times with certain Christian music, the message is great, but I can't get down on the music. We're trying our best to change that notion, and make a universally positive message accessible and listenable to everyone! I think the message of God encompasses everything - it's just a universally positive one, that can be an eye opener. I think people of any race, creed or background can enjoy and take something from it - regardless of the interpretation. Rather than alienate, we'd rather include, with open arms. Man, this is awesome! The song is amazing, you guys speak about the truth of Christ, and there's the fact that there is diversity among the members of the band. This is different from anything i've ever seen and i love it.
Glad you truly enjoyed it! They have changed their sound since this but the message of spreading the word of Jesus Christ has not changed for them. If you like heavier music give their new music a chance!

I guess they went through a bit of a transition since this video. I just came from hearing Corpus Christi, and wow there is a significant difference. 😂
Yea they definitely went heavier. The drummer and guitarist/vocalist (the founding members) were always into heavy music but the previous members weren't. Once the line up changed they were able to make the music they truly wanted while still being a Christian band.
the girl needs to go find a skillet type of band. let the big man do all of the vocals. dude has a lot of talent in his screams and cleans.

Brandon Krahn The drummer and the guitar player who is now doing the clean vocals are the only original members left. It makes sense since they are the one's who started the band.

Brandon Krahn most of them left due to not really wanting to be part of a Christian band. They had nothing against it, but they couldn't really get behind something they really didn't believe in. Everyone in this line up is Christian and on the same page which is probably why this song came out better then most of there previous material.
