This is such a genius way to promote a restaurant. I don't understand why more small business don't use youtube like this. It's so practical and smart. This man probably doubled his customer rate just from these silly videos. Smart af
i think it still depends on youtube algorithm...I've seen some other shorts not as successful promoting their brand with comedy & sketches

I don't live anywhere near a Shelby's (as far as I know), and I'm gonna make it a destination spot next time I'm in Toronto. The videos definitely worked.

I remember working in a lumber yard in Lambeth years ago and always going to his trailer down the street for lunch. Best shawarma I've ever had, it makes me incredibly happy seeing how far Shelby's has made it since those days. Ain't a restaurant or person that deserves it more 💖

@@spajk0012 North America is a big place. Shawarma's aren't everywhere here. Where they are availability, they are made slightly different. This guy makes everything from scratch and the shawarma looks good.
@@TheOnlyKontrol where I love there's like two places with 30 miles and they both suck. Where I used to love there were 5 places within 5 or so miles and I'd say 3 were good. What I like here is he makes the bread fresh on order.

Recommended to my sis living in Quebec who's moving back to Toronto
The best falafel I ever had is the interpretation where I am from. This was steamed falafel with mango sauce served on a plate with Puerto Rico style kidney beans, and fresh salad with fresh cilantro dressing. I want to run this by you because this steaming the falafel is a very healthy option and I have only ever seen this done at this one establishment. I do live close enough to a Shelby’s and would definitely try with the pom molasses & I am hoping the garlic sauce is raw. I would recommend experimenting with steamed falafel option. If you’ve never had it like this it will make you very happy. It is so soft, satisfying, and a little bit more healthy. I know you can’t mess with the fries but I would prefer my shawarma perhaps not to be grilled in the end as well because this bread is so soft I would want to try this fresh naan’s texture. Overall though I’m wanting to try this schwarma looks really good.
