I've been raising Silver Appleyards for 4 years now. I love them! So pretty and personable. They like to wet their food down with a mouthful of water - makes the water cloudy, but it'll ferment in a day. I don't let it go past 2 days. The chickens and ducks will benefit from wet or even mildly fermented feed. Your feed bill will likely decrease, too. Mine are very friendly, but don't like to be touched. They love fruit of all types, but adore slugs and small animals - anything they can catch and swallow, really.
    Thanks for the video!

You have inspired me to get ducks. Khaki campbells and I also am incubating some Silver Appleyard ducks.

I'm like Shawn and I appreciate you not showing him. I'm *very* careful about my face appearing on the Internet and I'm glad you made every effort to accord with his wishes (not that you wouldn't since you're a good guy). On point, duck eggs and meat are great. I hope you get a bunch!

I love ducks, they're so incredible funny and inquisitive :) And I was shocked when I found out how ducks' love life look like. Definietly not a perfect love story ;)
I also really like the polish name of a mallard duck - "kaczka krzyżówka", which can means both "hybrid duck" or... "crosswords duck"
I hope you make some kind of "duck vlog" for us!

That Bruce Highway is a bugger to drive up some days, i have seen the traffic backed up for miles, especially on the weekends. Great looking ducks, bet they are nice roasted.

They look great! I bought one khaki Campbell and one domestic mallard and turned out to be male and female...two years later I have khaki mallard hybrids...very interesting colors and great layers/ meat.
