Congratulations on a beautiful system ! This era of Pioneer was IMHO a "best ever" time during The Stereo Wars of the 1970s. Back around Y2K, I was just ready to purchase a Sansui 9090 receiver, but the seller also had a mint condition SX-1250 for sale, and after inspecting the inside of both units, I preferred the build quality and sound of the Pioneer. They are constructed like military-spec equipment. The world will likely never see gear of this caliber again, so hold on to yours. Thanks for sharing your system with us.

CM9s are the best, however they need a minimum of 300 watts a speaker to open up and to sound amazing.
