Amazing that this business survives.
It’s a front…. They have competitively priced kidneys in the basement
this looks great ❤wish we had it in our city!
Praise be... I can still pick up a movie on the way home from work! Love this place and their wonderful staff.
This business looks amazing. Renting movies (rather than streaming) makes it an event. Thank you for keeping physical media alive.
Wow, great store ❤
As someone that has a collection well over 500 dvds/.Blu rays this makes me so hapoy
Amazing this store is still out there. Speaking about worldwide market, physical copies are better, because of the changing copyright in streaming.
Nice to see! Thanks for sharing.
Marathon Ontario also has a thriving video store (Crossover Video and Games) in spite if being a very small town with just around 3100 ppl in Northern Ontario
YES! best Blu-Ray podcast too…can’t wait to visit Bay Street Video one day
I was a 'Suspect Video' fan back in the day, this looks great!
Same here bud! Loved Suspect! I've been using Bay Street Video since 2019! It is EXCELLENT!
@@CovidandCultFilm-ro1lt I live 10 minutes from the store and I have never been in, cant wait!
One of my favourite places in Toronto
Hey, that's me wearing the Twice shirt!
1:49 love the bane cosplay
Physical media will unfortunately be a niche market. So it’s great that this store is still thriving.
I remember these days fondly
It comes highly recommended from Bane.
…totally! -or part of Vader’s helmet. Anyone know what it is? It’s kind of shocking! 🤣
Really cool!
Love this!
Old school. Very cool!
Where are they located?
As a gamer, I am no stranger to the importance of preservation through physical media.
You are at the mercy of companies and streaming services when it comes to accessing digital media and they can snap their fingers and either revoke your access to it or delete the thing you wanted to access altogether because they can.
Having something you can hold in your very hands is proof of your ability to enjoy that thing without it disappearing into oblivion.
Why don’t they mention the name and the location or what the outside of the store looks like this is not great advertisement they just state that it’s in Toronto
I think the BIGGER question is WHY are they warning us of a new Covid Wave when they told us to take Vaccines "so we can STOP Covid"...years ago.
Nice!
WOW!!! This is an impressive collection!!!!
lol i like how many views this has
Why didn’t you mention the name or address?
literally says bay street video everywhere in the video. heres the address anyways 1172 Bay St., Toronto, ON M5S 2B4
I wonder if they take donations
This is the way.
Was that lady wearing a feed bag?

One in a million
Damnnn
Great
Why not lean in to the nostalgia more? Checkerboard floors, vibrant colours, splashy movie posters , candy machines popcorn 🍿 maybe a pinball machine… this place is drab ,,, happy it’s thriving , but don’t hold back on the decor .
Lmfaooo nice facemask 😂
I have over 7000
McPoyle rules
Try frostwire
Or any other brand of ship for the high seas.
It's so cool they wear masks. Getting a good respirator is key ❤
That would be cool if he had beta movies
I see they muzzled Mia Khalifa in this video.
What in the WORLD is this woman wearing on her face? 😮😢😂.
Are we still living in the insane asylum?
Who still using dvd nowadays? When you can watch almost all the movie on the internet 😂
There are still places in this country without unlimited high speed internet. Admittedly, that doesn't describe Toronto, but still...
@@Tzimisce- Lots of folks don't have the internet. I personally know a dozen or more.
There are so many movies that are not online and that you can't easily buy. So many!
@@zabmcauley5647 Legally anyways. 😂🏴☠
Lower audio quality with streaming
What the hell is that lady wearing for a mask. LoL Mask people in 2023 😂
Just like comic stores are havens for nerds, places like this video rental store are havens for Luddites! 🤣
