- Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of "Weapon" Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
Sumeru and 3.0 are finally here. This means we can get our hands on Dendro Traveler, as well as explore a new region. Today turned into the day that I completed all of Sumeru's main story quest. Was NOT expecting that honestly... Also I cannot wait to hopefully get Nilou one account.
MiHoYo (Now HoYoVerse) put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

Edit: Nvm I was mistaken. It's always 3. Any discrepancies are due to rounding up.
Fun fact: Nilou is pronounced Neelu in game. Which directly translates to Water in Telugu, one of the important and prominent languages in south India.
Thanks to @Trivia_DEX and other people, it is based off of Persian name. It translates to Water flower Lotus. It is a short form for Nilufar (There is already an NPC called Nilufar so don't confuse yourselves). The coincidence is really crazy

another fun fact: Nilou is a shortened version of a persian name Niloofar(meaning Lotus/Lily flower which is used in her design a lot: her burst, her friendship card, her splash art etc.)

Fontaine IS actually gonna be the next region. We can see the region's release order in the 'Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview' trailer. Next region after Sumeru is Fontaine and then Natlan

@@kevvy8416 that also makes sense, but considering each one of the characters in the travail trailer were there alone (except for pulcinella, but the fatui that were with him are the ones that appear as enemies, so they're probably gonna stay as NPCs) I don't think they're gonna make an exception out of these two. Though 2 seperate characters with complimentary animations sounds pretty cool as well

Only problem. Travelers lvl90 base atk is 212. 3atk more means we would get 1.41% stronger instead of those 0.07%
Even when you add the base atk of a weapon. It would still be 0.3%.

It’s set to be Fontaine by one of Hoyoverse’s first Genshin trailers, “Travail” I believe. The story order is said to be :
Mondstadt : Prologue
Liyue : Chapter One
Inazuma : Chapter Two
Sumeru : Chapter Three
Fontaine : Chapter Four
Natlan : Chapter Five
Snezhnaya : Chapter Six
There is also Khaenri’ah, which is an ongoing chapter throughout the other chapters. While the others follow the Archons, this one will follow the Traveler and their quest to find their sibling exclusively.
So you are correct. Fontaine is supposedly going to be next. Though we won’t know officially until they tell us.

Traveller is older than the Dendro Archon.
Fun fact: Alhaitham is actually a sword character, it was confirmed in a fighting cutscene from the new archon quest between him and Cyno

3.1 has two new bosses - one is a robot from Scarlet King's kingdom, one is a Ruin Drake boss
If she uses the desert boss then obv you need the desert, but if she uses the Ruin Drake one then there is already a boss arena with Ruin Drakes in the rainforest - presumably the arena to this boss

You really got me with those flashbacks to the intro, that was funny! I really appreciate how much work you put into condensing your playtime into these videos. It's so much more polished than a lot of the other weapon-only series out there. Yours are always the best. As for Nilou, I'm wondering if her ascension material will turn out to be Padisarahs. I think that would make way more thematic sense for her than anything from the desert.

Well actually, people learn better when they're sleeping/dreaming, so it makes sense for wisdom to be absorbed then. Not to mention the fact that I personally thought that initially the reason why sumeru peeps didn't dream was because the terminals would use the brains of people as computers, a brain has a lot of computing power, so it makes sense to use all that hardware to like run calculations or something.

Since you mentioned it, I'm fairly confident we saw artwork saying it was gonna go Sumeru > Fontaine > Natlan > Schneznaya and that Schneznaya was confirmed to be last, though that could have been a faked leak.

22:41 the way I saw this is that we store lots of information in our brains and do nothing with it, when we dream we’re taking our knowledge and doing stuff with it, so if the Akasha steals our dreams it’s using them to access a vault of all of the knowledge a single person has, copying the information we all have in our brains and storing those copies in the Akasha, which can be accessed at any time by anyone through the Akasha Terminal, so it doesn’t help the person who’s wearing the Akasha, it helps the general populous with the information you’ve gathered, subsequently it also helps you out by being able to access the information everyone else knows
for the constellations it's like all the other elements, collect the dendroculi and with each new lever of the statue you get the memory dust thing

About the red numbers and leveling, I'm pretty sure that person is correct. I've created a second account and paid more attention to that aspect, and the color of the enemies changed even though only one character was leveled more than needed.
Anniversary rewards will definitely help you get more fates for Nilou!!

It's true about the 90 thing. I have only 2 characters that are leveled up to 90/90 and 2 that are 80/90. And the red level disappeared so I guess it works. 😌

It was me that left the comment. It definitely is the 1 character to 90 thing. I started an alt account recently and getting to sumeru I had 4 level 80 ascended characters in my party, and it was coming up with "DANGEROUS AREA" for literally every area, including like the main town with no enemies. Getting one level 90 character completely removed it, and it was something I had to look up because otherwise I never would have wasted xp going from 80 to 90 on anyone. But really all it does is get rid of red numbers and warnings that don't actually cause any issues. It's still worth considering because with dendro traveler you can use Keqing to aggravate, and aggravates damage is based off your level, so going from 80-90 actually has a significant impact on her that most other characters don't get.

The leveling to 90 to not have red levels actually works because my only level 90 is zhongli and i don't have red levels anymore but i don't know if they have to be in the party

Hello Java! I want to thank you for making my day better every time I see a vid :) and also thx for uploading on my birthday.
I don't think he'll get sick of the first part of the second part of the archon quest once he gets to it (Ch. III Act. III) even after three times. I just did it. 4 cutscenes in a row, and dammm. I'm in shock. Bewildered. At a loss for words. Genshin has reached its peak.
It's gonna be hard to use Nilou with only sword because she needs double hydro and double dendro to be viable and prompt her bountiful core passive. And only one of the two dendro characters uses a sword. Nahida (the upcoming dendro character) is a catalyst user, so you won't be able to use Nilou to her full potential till alhetham(or however you spell it) comes out/another dendro sword user.
That domain in the beginning made me feel so stupid. I ran around looking for something to interact and in the end I left the domain because I thought it was glitched or something

It's true that taking one character to 90 makes the red levels go away. I had the same issue for the longest time since I had a bunch of characters 80 ascended and didn't get why I was still getting red enemy levels and taking Shogun to 90 immediately made it go away.

yo!just wanted to say, if you are struggling with the red levels on any of your accounts, you can lower your world level if your world level is 5 or higher than 5, hope that helped!

Sad part is I had no problem when I did it on my main the day the update came out. Yet I completely forgot what to do here and struggled for way too long
I didn’t actually use the wait feature for the quest because I didn’t feel like doing the quest at the time. I farmed on the account for two in game days and was surprised when the quest popped back up
