I like the idea of time extensions in these scenarios which is kind of similar to soccer in the final minutes. Obviously if Cotton hesitates and stops his play to think too much or gets seriously interrupted by the opponent, I can understand calling time. However, in this situation I really like how they let Kotton play out his final move and secure the win.
Very happy Jesse got to attack in game 3, I really hate when someone clearly lost but win cuz of some silly time restriction. Maybe you could argue playing around time rules takes skill but imo it just feels cheap

Why in game 1 didnt Jessie make linkuriboh with poplar then attempt to ss as poplar would have been in spell trap zone and could have gotten the kuriboh in the grave?
jesse definitely could’ve ended it more quickly game 3 if he played through the nib and would’ve had way more advantage. yeah Nib wouldn’t be a turn ender but ending on amblo and arvata woulda been better and he wouldn’t have to play around super poly.
i can see Jesse’s thought process though. he probably decided because of the number of interruptions he had plus a really strong strike would put him in a good enough position to trade, plus he knew about Phantazmay so he also built it to play around it.

I think the decks have too much extension and recursion, but the skill ceiling is insane and interesting to watch
game 2 and 3 were both pretty good
