Yh i agree, in the book it talked about were Lorek cut open his chest and ate his heart. And also the simile used was very effective talking about the gavering of power like a wave, and then unleashing it's power into his jaw. The book is much better!
The sequel was obviously canceled because this didn’t do so great at the box office. BBC is working on making the Trilogy into Tv. Series, hopefully they’ll do a much better job than this movie.
I remember watching this in the cinemas when it first came out. I was like 3 or 4 years old back then. When this scene came on, I was scared shitless. I remember I literally cried in horror watching this especially with the loud sounds HAHA. today my dad told me about this incident and I came back here....

I remember seeing this in the cinema. The ENTIRE cinema seen this and every single person uttered the words "Holy shit" It was goddamned AMAZING.

An 'easy' to tell who's who in *His Dark Materials* is that one of them have an X painted on them and the other doesn't
