In fact BR provokes some extraordinary masterclass like with Vetrimaaran, of course Maniratnam, C.Premkumar, SJ Surya, Gethu Dinesh, Santosh Narayanan. He has the same bible like me : Hitchcock/Truffaut and the admiration for one the powerful critic : Pauline Kael
BR being a native tamil speaker is clearly struggling with his flow and choice of words..... This is the sad state of many Tamil speaking urban folks who think and articulate in English ..a sign of the times.. Makes me sad

One thing I noticed in this interview is BR continuously thinking of words.. This makes the viewers uncomfortable.. Undoubtedly his thoughts in his mind is great but he is struggling in converting those thoughts into words.. May be he is a good interviewer but not a person to be interviewed by someone 😅
