I think we can all agree Ray's performance as Baylan Skoll was the best part of the series. Worst part was guving Sabine force powers. It felt like a mary sue upgrade she didnt need. Girl was already a Mandalorian warrior and had some lightsaber training. Perhaps she could have learned a little more from Ahsoka to prepare for fighting Shin, but making her yet anither girboss jedi was excessive. Plus, Hera's son was the perfect candidate for a Padawan. Right age, confirmed force adept lineage, an established character we were willing to see more of. Feels like the feminist agenda at Lucasfilm shot the best & simplest udea down for the sake of their 'message'. RIP Mr. Stephenson. You were not just an actor, but an Artist.
Of any of the characters, sabine felt the most off from previous iterations. Giving her the force was definitely something i wish they didn't do. Tho less so, ashoka does feel decently different from previous depictions as well. I like the show, i think it's definitely the better than kenobi, boba fett, and season 3 of mando. I think the biggest issue was that it had a very lackluster ending. The last 2 episodes just really brought down the overall product. I hope season 2 can be better and with less action scenes shoehorned in because they are afraid of the plot slowing down
Frankly, the impression I got from the show is that it was written by idiots. They may have done a few things right here and there, but overall? It was a mess of plot holes and contrivances from start to finish. And I don't think I can ever forgive them for making Grand Admiral Thrawn into a mouth-breathing moron. Every time he opened his mouth, he sounded like what a complete numbskull THINKS a military genius sounds like, but his actions - and his pathetically weak explanations for them - show nothing but arrogance and rank incompetence. As usual for Disney, their writers are too stupid and unimaginative to write competent villains who are defeated by smart, creative and talented heroes, so they default to idiotic villains defeated by improbably lucky heroes who only succeed by pure fiat and contrivance.
The EU Thrawn trilogy was the first star wars books I had ever read, i was so excited to see him in a tv show. But i absolutely hated the way he acted, hes supposed to be a Sherlock Holmes who the bad guys hired. But in this show he makes so many dumb moves.
Its a fair review. I would still take Ahsoka over the mando. season 1 and 2. Season 3 is me excepting and enjoying the show mando more for what it is. Andor was better because the budget was managed well and had a very out spoken writer helming it. Sadly every other show has budget problems partly because of new VFX tech growing pains.
All and all the show was good andor had spoiled us with quality so we all went into this expecting it to be the second andor it was more like the first season of the mandolorain in terms of quality
Oh no, imho this shows is not nearly on the same level of Mando season 1 and 2. Only in terms of visual quality perhaps, the rest is pretty mediocre and honestly I felt bored during most of the show, the story was mostly nonsensical and most of the acting (or rather lack there of) is noticeably bland.

Your opinion and I will say it’s is worse than mando season 1 but it is on the same quality as season 2
@@G36645 I'd say it's still worse that season 2, but a cut above the rest of the D+ shows
