@Noivs I think it is great with the added liberties, very overall pleased with the remaster tbh. @Arkavangel Love your medley version! You got some good covers. Subbed! :D
The only legit complain that I have about this game is that Vicarious didnt make this Boss "Fight" harder. Im pretty sure that some people would complain about it, but a lot would appreciate it, even more with this amazing theme.
I was actually thinking about this the other day. The only way I think you can make this boss harder is by having him shoot back at you in the 2nd and 3rd hits. So you'd be trying to dodge his gun attacks and try to get close enough to hit him at the same time. I'm not sure how that would work, but it's the only thing I can think of right now.
Oh... my... god! I thought that out of all the songs the final bosses would be the ones he played the most safe but this... they absolutely perfected this!
@@datdumbdude4126 It's a goofy villain, so the reality is so you don't insta lose if you make a mistake, disguised as Cortex being cocky and "making fun of you" in the meantime
Maybe the best remix in the trilogy really. The soft pads and full guitars gives it so much spacy and menacing atmosphere. Wasn't really possible to do in the original.
Wow, way better than the original. Also, didn't know when he was comunicating via hologram the music was different. You're doing this perfectly. Hopefully Aku Aku invincibility comes soon.
Tbh I wish all the remade boss battlr songs were like this, N.gin didnpoorly but this one was so energetic, I like the feeling of revisiting a boss you fought in your childhood
Okay, as underwhelming as this fight is for being the final boss, I wanted nothing more then to beat the ever living crap out of Cortex after he put me through getting the box gem in Piston it, Cold Hard Crash, Digging it, and Totally Bear. I see this boss fight as the developers saying “I know your angry, but look on the bright side! You won! We will even let you take out your anger out on Cortex!”
The electrc bass-like guitar that sings the melody common to all three Crash games is absemt within the hologram version of this song. nut present here. This is actually them paying keen attention to detail; that bassline is actually describing Cortex' plight for world domination. Wouldn't make sense for it to exist when he's actually trying to _hide_ his plot now, would it?
You know, i think the final boss of the second game should have been like the 4th boss of the 3rd game, imagine chasing cortex in a spaceship or mech with your jetpack while listening to this theme...
Well you can tell vicarious tried to make it better. There’s a lil cutscene showing Cortex just laughing at your face as he’s ready to get away with it. This remix tune itself is an upgrade and just seeing cortex flying off actually instead of him disappearing is actually somewhat rewarding....juuust needed to have cortex ACTUALLY try to shoot at you
@@dericanight861 Also that part at the very end where you gotta get across the lava before the platforms retract into the wall now that actually was somewhat of a challenge because I actually died on that part multiple times due to either not being fast enough or f**king up my jumps and glides.
When you forgot you are composing for CB and compose for Final Fantasy.
OnionSoldier :'DDD
OnionSoldier accurate :/
That's just how epic it is.
@@BlaxxShadowIf only the fight was as epic
For a rather short boss fight, they truly made it an unforgettable experience with this music.
Argumenter_Respecter in a race against time, gotta make it ultra epic.
The boss itself sucks but this is an absolute banger
So that's what it sounds like after 30 seconds.
The original was a simple remake of the Crash 1 Cortex theme, I'm actually glad they put their own "personality" to it.
Lex Lang: *NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!* You haven't seen the last me, Crash Bandicoot!
Bruh his name is neo cortex
@@RayanAhmadzadeh-i9m The ACTOR who voiced him. ;)
1:05-1:08 EPIC!!!
Oh Yeah! Crash Bandicoot is definitely back in his greatest form since his last appearence in 2008.
Rodolfo Ledezma-Sarabia actually, his last appearance in a while was crash nitro kart 2 for ios in 2010.
they took some liberties with this one.
and it is good, it sounds very nice. overall, i like it more than the original
Personally, even though its unofficial,
I think the remix by Lohweo is my favorite version of the C2 Cortex theme.
@Noivs I think it is great with the added liberties, very overall pleased with the remaster tbh.
@Arkavangel Love your medley version! You got some good covers. Subbed! :D
The best Cortex Boss theme from the original three games got better!
This one used to be my least favorite. Now it's the best.
I always preferred Crash 3's but this one overrules that now
This is definitely the best of the three remasters, but I still prefer the OG Crash 3 final boss theme out of them all.
The only legit complain that I have about this game is that Vicarious didnt make this Boss "Fight" harder. Im pretty sure that some people would complain about it, but a lot would appreciate it, even more with this amazing theme.
You know the boss fight is too easy when you only get to hear 1/4th of the music...
Well I'm terrible with the jetpack anyway, so I get to hear this theme (In my lets-play, I lost to him 2-3 times)
I was actually thinking about this the other day. The only way I think you can make this boss harder is by having him shoot back at you in the 2nd and 3rd hits. So you'd be trying to dodge his gun attacks and try to get close enough to hit him at the same time. I'm not sure how that would work, but it's the only thing I can think of right now.
lol just make him faster and increase his health
That wouldn't change much. The main complaint is that Cortex can't attack back.
Oh... my... god!
I thought that out of all the songs the final bosses would be the ones he played the most safe but this... they absolutely perfected this!
THE BEST N.CORTEX THEME FOR SURE
“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
You haven’t seen the last of me *Crash Bandicoot!!* “
"Crash. What do you suppose happened to Cortex? And what about the Cortex Vortex? It's still up there."
And you still barely get to hear any of this.
Seriously! Like why does he wait for you to catch up instead of rushing ahead while he has the chance?
@@datdumbdude4126 It's a goofy villain, so the reality is so you don't insta lose if you make a mistake, disguised as Cortex being cocky and "making fun of you" in the meantime
Jesus Christ what an improvement.
The part at 0:16 sounds so much better than the original. It's amazing how a simple change in instrument can make a huge difference.

this is.

that alien whistle tho
vicarious visions creating the most fire remix only for it to play for 12 seconds
The remix is better than the battle itself xD
What a pleasant surprise here. Amazing theme and has a lot of liberties yes but it sounds very good

1:21 you can hear this part in the Crash 3 version, meaning someone sampled parts of this song and forgot to cut off that section. xD
Best song in the world!

Defeat cortex before he escapes to his space station
This one sounds even more like a final boss theme than the PS1 theme. Too bad they kept the fight itself crappy.

In my book the slap bass should've been louder but this is okay
Such a shame that such a rocking remix is used for such a terrible final boss.
Amazing remix. Shame the fight itself was still an absolute joke.
