My mentor told me as a student most meds ending in pril are ace inhibitors and those that end in lol are beta blockers but with every placement we did have drugs to learn we are lucky enough to have the BNF on our computer which is helpful as we admin drugs electronically
new grad here, i work in MICU…the biggest reason i chose that unit is bc pts can’t ask me shit like that while they are sedated on the vent…of course we do have 1 or 2 on RA & i still google that shit in front of them idgaf lmao if i don’t know, i don’t know, ill admit it too🤷🏻♀️
That’s great when you’re allowed your phone on the ward. Newly qualified and don’t have a clue 😂 also not allowed to google it cause I’m not allowed my phone on the ward 😂 x
Absolutely right di I can understand bcz i am doing bsc nursing and now i am in 2 nd year , till now i learnd a lots from clinical posting , my dream is to become a nursing officer ❤❤❤❤
You would think she would learn each medication by the 7th yr! Why use Google? I guess, not all nurses have access to Electronic Medication Administration Records.
For real half the time I’m like what do you take this for and they go I don’t know and I go huh let’s look it up. Do you have this?? Do you have this? Have you ever had this? We play a little detective game.
😂😂😂but is it allowed. I thought you were supposed to keep your phone away 😂 guys I'm a future nurse. Are we meant to use phone while looking after a patient?😕
Well... If a doctor or a nurse feels the need to use google in order to give an answer to the question from their field, then you need to find a better doctor, nurse. My brother had a case with a doctor, who used to google his questions about his health in secret. My brother found it out in no time, since he gave those questions to him and googled it before seeing that doctor again few hours later. No need to say, that this doctor was legendary bad doctor in the university hospital, that all staff and all patients weren't happy about him and I know the surgename of a doctor, which to I would never go.
What an abhorrent comment. I’m pretty sure this wonderful nurse Zara was born here, but even so migrant workers especially nurses are better trained than us nurses over here 😂
hahaha didn't expect the ending
LOL! I do my Google search right before going into their room.
"It's for you feel better" 😂
No I dnt Google it up....I try to learn the actions of all the medications used in the hospital❤️

@@a.m.9474 That's what doctors and nurses has to do: they must know all medicine, they are using on patients.
