Please stop with the “foxy eye” thing. My friends and I have been made fun of our entire lives for our eye shape, and to see people “snatching” or “lifting” the eyes is just another example of double standards between races. Before you say, “nobody wants monolids,” or “its not the same,” remember how everybody makes fun of us by pulling at their eyelids. Before you say, “stop bringing race into this,” it absolutely applies.

To get the front of my brows more subtle, I start further back and then do the front when there is less product on the brush.
That blush tip just blew my mind so hard I had to try it myself even though I'm already in bed. Holy moly! I worrrrrks! Life changed.

clinique foundations (even better line) mixed with their moisturizer (dramatically different moisturizing gel) is an awesome combo too!!

I mix strobe cream with some of my full coverage matte foundation and what a difference that makes! Everything looks more skin like, love this tip❤
I've found that the best way to apply any cream product without disrupting what's underneath is to pick it up with the brush rather than apply it to your face then blend. Just run your brush over the bronzer and/or blush then tap it on. And your fingers to apply the highlighter!! It really makes a difference xx

Love this entire look and the dip brow looks great on you 💕!! My favourite makeup tips I actually learned from you! One is feathering out your brows with a fluffy eyeshadow brush for a more natural look, and the other is applying foundation with your hands, always looks so natural and fresh!!

Idea! Try taking the nose contour more on the bridge of your nose, instead of the sides. Like bring the lines closer together, on top of the nose in straight lines down. Love you lots Lan! Out here doing God’s work with EDM! ❤️

I really love this! You did a great job and it was fun seeing you try out some new techniques! I do have a tip for the abh dipbrow; try wiping off as much product as you can from the brush and then go in. It helps from over applying and keeping the lines a little more hair-like and snatchural. Can’t wait for tomorrow! 💖
I always do my contour first before concealer, because I find that I like to really blend and buff out my cheek contour, and when I used to do the concealer first, I always found it got too dark under my eye, then I’d have to reapply the concealer. So I started cutting the first step, and now I wear less concealer and my contour is much more blended and soft!

coat the brush with the pomade, then take paper towel and pinch the brush to both take of some of the excess product AND thin out the brush and then paint the strokes. this makes it soooo much more natural! ✨

I have been mixing moisturizers and foundation, for science, quite a lot lately. I have found that the moisturizer you choose is very important. It shouldn’t be too thick or have a waxy base. I found that one of the best moisturizers to use is the Belif Aquabomb. It has a lovely thinner consistency and sheers out thicker foundations like a dream. I have been using it recently with the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra something or other and it is gorgeous❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and smells lovely too.
I think your brows look amazing with that new technique!! Obviously I'm not sure how it looks like in person, but from what I see through the video, they look bomb!!

I enjoy my dip brow and I'm a pencil gal too. Biggest tip I learned was to have barely any product at all on your eyebrow brush. sounds crazy but you can always add or go over what you've done and it was far easier than trying to 'undue' it when it was too dark. Def takes practice
I saw a someone a glowy glass skin video and a tip that I had never seen was that she mixed moisturizer with her cream blush!! Game changer so dewy. I use my Stila convertible blush and mix it with my moisturizer and it looks so dewy and fresh! Love it.

I am no beauty influencer, but from watching what you did with your soap brows I was thinking if I tried this I would start further down the brow with the product and then do some lines at the front of the brow when there’s much less product on the brush 🙂❤️ that makeup turned out so beautiful!

I recently started using Anastasia Dip Brow and have avoided harsh lines/excess of product by dabbing any excess off in the inside of the lid. It’s foolproof!!
Often when I'm traveling and I know I won't need to be wearing a lot of makeup or I'm only going for a few days I don't even pack a foundation, just a high coverage concealer and I'll mix it in and sheer it down with my moisturizer and use that mix as foundation. It's a great trick!

I actually just started using a thin layer of my sunscreen on my face, then when I get to foundation I mix in sunscreen with my fuller cover foundation and make my own tinted moisturizer with SPF. But in the winter months I'll definitely try mixing with my most hydrating base. I'm looking to try the new Kate Somerville for my sensitive skin!

Sam has a whooole rant on how Anastasia herself taught her how to use dip brow! It's sooo useful, and I think it's perfect advice for any product that's similar to brow dip (any kind of brow pomade tbh)

Thanks to my dry skin.. I have actually mixed my (more drying) foundations with moisturizer for years.. It really helps a lot! I heard about applying blush with your palms from a MUA on RUclips Robert Walsh.. If you haven’t watched him you would probably love him! He’s amazing and hilarious! I love Jaime as well! I have to try that along with the other tips you mentioned! I love every day May btw! ❤️

Skin tip from one very dry skin girl to another...take a few drops of IUNIK Beta Glucan mixed with 3 pumps of Versed Baby Cheeks and apply to face and neck where massive moisture is needed. When apply foundation, mix Estee Lauder advanced night repair with foundation before applying to face for added skin care and moisture to makeup.
