    Love the new plants but my favorite part was the fall color preview. So many times, RUclips gardeners describe new plantings as having great fall color - but then they never show that fall color later on! I have two young Gatsby Pinks so I loved seeing what I have to look forward to!

    I watch many gardening channels, but you guys are my all time favourite. You’ve really taught me how to pair up plants so it always looks so beautiful - full of color and textures. Thank you so much.

    Just beautiful, here on the prairie we don’t get the red tints, but when the sun shines through the yellow and gold, it’s magic. Thanks so much! Zone 3 Manitoba 🇨🇦👏🍁

    @ 7:00 I REALLY LOVE the plant tags with the plant that you show in your videos. I copy and paste them into a word document, keep them, and either reference them for online ordering or print them to take with me to the garden center. Also, I reference them in my garden schematic. Your garden still looks AMAZING for October!

    I hit the LAST clearance sale of the season last week, near Grand Rapids, MI and have 20 PW perennials to get in the ground. I’m trying a mix of Evening Gown and Black Pearl coral bells, similar to what you did with Ballgown and Pistachio (?) a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to see how it looks next season!

    • @growformegardening
      @growformegardening  День назад

      Oh that will be awesome. If I'm not mistaken one is shiny and one is more matte on the leaves, it will be so nice together

    I get a lot of inspiration from you guys! Thank you. Of all the RUclips gardeners, your garden is more "my" style. It's not exactly a cottage garden, but it's not Disney World horticulture, either! I would love to know how you maintain your grass edge. I currently use a moon-shaped spade and go around. Do you have a more efficient method?

      We call it Contemporary Cottage! Last winter we did a video talking about. I use a moon shaped edger too...I maintain with an electric edger in between.

    So awesome! I scored many coral bells on clearance and planted them last weekend. I divided two of them to make more plants and hope they survive! Love the way you planted the dianthus, totally inspired me to do the same. ❤

    Very interesting that the tags listed heucherella as deer resistant. I have stayed away from it because the deer love to eat the few heuchera I have. I wonder if heucherella is really more resistant than heuchera or if it’s a case of deer not reading tags? 😀

    • @ChrisCalmtheCrazy

      I have deer that love to hang out near our porch. I put some pots of new hostas near my house wall and surrounded them by outdoor dining chairs until I was ready to plant them in the fenced garden. WELL! Next morning, the dining chairs were pushed over the deck and the hostas were mowed down within a couple inches of dirt. Anyway, I have found that they are picky about which huecheras and hucherallas they like. It seems they like the more green and more flat leaf plants. I don't know if that helps, but they will eat some and miss others.

    Never win me over to liking the oakleaf hydrangea. I have munchkin and i'm not a fan. But, still loved the video. Love watching. The gingko is really nice color. Is it male or female (female ones smell when the fruit drops)? Happy Halloween early guys!
