I noticed in your videos, the riders wearing high-visibility vests always seem to drive a little faster, as if those vests actually confer any actual safety advantage.
Zero speed traps or traffic lights :-) Some people on the streets are remarkable well dressed! I expected a lot more aggression, perhaps I'm not interpreting what I see correctly, but despite the chaos it looks relatively safe oddly enough.
When I was there people really weren't aggressive on the road, people kinda just yielded on context (and yield to bikes was more or less expected). Just a lot of honking and everyone somehow knows where to go.
7:25 Oh. That poor mixer truck driver is having a nightmare! What could be more terrifying than being stuck in a crowded place while driving a heavy vehicle?
His not really stuck but the motorbikes are everywhere on the road hence obstructing the truck so he has to drive at a snails pace. The motorbikes seem to outnumber the vehicles in that country!
@@timmusumba5846 Yes. If I lived in Congo, I would use a motorcycle instead of a car. In a country with crowded cities and bad roads, motorcycles are better in every way. Mixer truck drivers seem to block roads and obstruct traffic, but I agree they drive slowly for the safety of pedestrians and motorcyclists. The biggest problem is that this country has too many motorbikes and no traffic rules. :( Congo needs to improve its road system and build big public transport. Respect to the Congolese people who never get angry or fight even in terrible traffic jams!

Hi I'm from India (Tamilnadu) where the birth of tvs belongs to . I have own tvs star city 110 cvti which is called as star HLX E5 IN your country. I drove 1 lakhs more kilometer and is still doing great .
Incredible footage! I guess this is what the demographic timebomb looks like. I don't see any elderly people? Or dogs? Congo apparently has over 100 million inhabitants..

The CEO of TSV in Congo is probably swimming with cash. Places like these, bikes is definitely the way to go. Cheap to maintain, easier to drive... Super dangerous tho.
1:55 very horrible road indeed! Vehicles are driven on what side of the road? There seems to be a lot of confusion on the road with little room for movement for oncoming vehicles! I did not spot any single round about on the roads. Your transport system seems to have old vans painted in yellow with doors seemingly open most of the time😎🤔! What was the purpose of the video? Was it to show viewers the the beauty of what there is to see in Kinshasa or was it a motorbike racing video full of hooting?
Way too many bad drivers, and I mean apart from the free for all shit show... just bad drivers unaware of their surroundings. I'm surprised they don't get involved in more accidents.
With all due respect… they drive like animals… if animals drove, this is exactly how they would drive… Thank God I live in the US.. I’m from Honduras, and although we kinda drive like that too, but we have a little more order.
@@96gogoto I assume there are no strict bans on importing and buying right hand steering cars in Congo (which is driving on the right side of the road). It all depends on the country's transport and automotive ministry to issue a ban or permission on what type of vehicles that companies in Congo can import and sell.

India is like this as well - you'll hear more horn sounds than engine sounds
Just come to India

Proud as an Indian to see that TVS being an Indian Company is the most popular in Africa too

Considering elderly is consider to be 65+ and Congo has a life expectancy of 60 I dont think you'll be seeing much elderly anywhere.
Dogs get eaten and people don't live to old age
We don't eat dogs😂many in Nigeria but not congo. Yes people do live to be old in congo. Even beyond 90.
I thought Congo was poor. But it is infact, rich compared to any country 2000 years ago. Not a single bicycle even in sight.
