So many of these “fathers suck” storylines in these shows are just vile and disgusting. I lost my dad to cancer when I was 20 and seeing things like this just make me angry. Because not all fathers are stupid and pathetic, just like not all mothers are super women. Side note I love my mother, but I know plenty of women (even in my own family) who should never have been mothers.

My mother abused me and got away with it in the courts because they refused to believe that a woman would do that. My father spent 15 years trying to prove the truth and raised myself and my sister in that time despite all of the lies against him. Yet all I ever hear from media is "fathers bad. mothers good".
