I prefer Lara's warm and velvety voice to Celine's high and nasal voice. They are both wonderful performers.
Even as a lamb, Lara Fabian is the greatest vocal technician between the divas. She can still sing ALL her music in ORIGINAL key without dodging a single note in her 50’s, and will be able to for a long time. She has incredible knowledge about the voice and vocal technique, but also still works with a vocal coach! Always willing to learn and improve.
@@onepleiadian Yeah being at that age it's really amazing! and as a lamb too, in my heart I truly believe with 1000% that if Mariah did not have nodules, she'd also be able to do that same with her songs which is so sad with all the criticism she be getting.

Celine's resonance, breath support and phrasing are very medium level. Lara is a MASTER. She was trained to become an OPERA SINGER over ten years at the Royal Conservatory of Belgium. She plays piano and composes musical core as well. She has a perfect pitch ear. That's why she's known as THE RING. You know what that means?

Comparing Celine's vocal technique to Lara it's a CRIME, because Lara was trained to become an opera singer 10 straight years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she learned the Bel canto, playing piano, guitar and composing as well. She is known as THE RING because of her perfect resonance, incredible breathing and mixed/chest voice control and her amazing smooth control while switching from chest to head voice and vice versa. Plus: Lara is a master in the vowels pronunciation as a trained opera singer should be. ❤

@@yulhi661 They both are talented. But one (Lara) is waaaaaay more talented than the Celine in terms of vocal technique. That's all. 😉 Everybody who understands a lot about vocal technique agree about this. ;) There's even a comment of a Lamb (Mariah's) fan here saying that he/her loves Mariah but recognize that Lara has a superior vocal technique than Mariah's.

Everybody who understands anything about vocal technique know that Celine is a vocal master and I can easily tell that you have no idea what she can do with her instrument. Most people with basic knowledge are able to make the difference between technique and personal preference, that's why they know how to judge a vocalist based on their range, agility, resonance, and Celine is certainly not someone to throw on a corner when it comes to all these points and above and you treating her like she's some inferior singer says a lot about what you obviously don't know about vocal technique. Also rare are the lambs who recognize another vocalist and many lambs hate Céline so that's not really the best reference to have here unless you find an unbiased person with. If you have no capacity to compliment one without insulting the other I got news for you. Céline is Céline, Lara is Lara, Mariah is Mariah, Whitney is Whitney, and each of these women stand on their own, you can talk about education but Mariah's mother was a singer, both Whitney and Céline were raised surrounded by musicians and vocalists, at the end it all goes to how they use their voices, and I'll repeat again, Céline is not inferior and you clearly didn't bother listening to Céline or you wouldn't discard her in such rude way.
This video is very skewed by which clip happens to be the loudest or best recorded sound each time. Sometimes Celine is belting and Lara is mixing yet you’re choosing her or visa versa. Its mostly dependant on the mixing of each clip or how old it is. Listening to Lara even when shes belting it sounds like shes holding back and with a closed throat sound. Celine sounds brighter to me and so is more piercing.

The person who edited this video didn't put any of Lara's vídeo sustaining long notes of the fifth octave in chest voice, like her C5, D5 and E5 over 15 seconds when she was already over 45 years old. That's all.
You pointed just what I mentioned in my previous comment: Celine's dark hair means that she was at her 20+ years, Lara's blond hair means she was at her 30+ years. So the person who edited this video is a Celine's fan who decided to pick the videos of her primer era (from 1991 to 1999) when she used to have a nice resonance, Lara has the same resonance even nowadays at her 54 years old, you can check her out on her newest tour, just search on RUclips Lara Fabian Adagio 2024 or Lara Fabian Broken Vow 2024 or Lara Fabian Je Suis Malade 2024 or Lara Fabian Si Tu M'aimes 2024. Obviously, Lara has more long notes, simply because this video was created by a person who did not bother to choose Celine's belting long high notes above C#5. Lara has a little more resonance than Celine. But Lara's vibrato is weak, Celine's vibrato is at a crazy level. As for the technique of execution:Celine's technique has no equal at the moment. You just need to look for and watch the right videos where she does things that neither Lara, nor Mariah, can sing like that.
