I too take interest in making airships on build a boat, usually made of wood with invisible motors and visible balloons (im just not very good at building compared to these standards)
You're pretty unlikely to ever even see a real blimp because there's only 20 of them still flying today. Hydrogen is too flammable to use and helium is expensive and you need a lot of it, but apparently they might make a comeback in the future...
