Great channel! One suggestion : can you use the (excellent and free) REW software to graph a frequency sweep with the speakers? Then we'll see what the actual frequency response is
I've never heard of that company but judging by the tweeter design/material, I'd say these are probably the cheapest or close to the cheapest set you bought.
Do these pair well with vibe slicks? My car set up is 13cm sony xplode 2 way (front) Front crossovers Alpine tweeters (but have vibe slick ready to use if necessary) 17 cm Vibe Slick 1 way (rear) Vibe additional520watt amplifier Oem bmw e46 subwoofer [boot] (wanting to change the 6 x 9 speakers in the basket due to being 17 years old and can't handle my amplifier at high level)
once you take those screws out each time you put it back in it's going to be slightly more loose every time. Look up the match trick if that happens (screw in with a match to get a tight fit)
What 6x9 car speakers would you recommend to use in a recording studio like yours? Something that sounds like you monitor speakers that you have there. Here from Mexico I say Thanks.
it is difficult to get the same sound as these monitor speakers with 6x9's , but the JBL I tested sound the best out of the 6x9's I have tested so far.
So, I know this is off topic but knowing your history with audio equipment I hope you can help. I want a two way studio monitor system. Not really looking for an insanely high watt count (60 watts would be plenty) I don't want it to be insanely cheap, but I don't want to budget over $200 dollars for it. Maybe Bluetooth would be nice but not needed. I was looking at some Edifires but not sure if there's other systems that would sound nice and fit the criteria. If you have any advice, thank you!
If you can buy something and return it if you don't like it, do that and test out a few. If not, Mackie and KRK are worth checking out. Your question isn't off topic though, this is exactly one of the reasons why I'm testing out these speakers.
i have a question? HOW MUCH DO U SPEND ON THESE THINGS MAN (not judging but its odd to me). and honestly i think u should get beats sub woofers and test them out
hmm.. I'd like to see you test them with the asskicker amp. with extremely low frequencies. let them flex for their lives, until they release the magic smoke trapped within.
I'm not good at creating tutorials but there are plenty already online. I will be making more music production videos though, so I'm sure if you just watch anyway you'll probably still learn stuff :)
Just a common mistake. The brand is Fli, the series is Underground. They tried to shorten “Fli Underground, but that’s what they ended up with. They should have called the speaker UG69.
I just love ur channel
I have personally used these kind of box with 6*9 . A simple toilet paper roll port gives it better bass response.👌👌👌👌👌👌
what if he sealed the box and installed a passive radiator ?
girlsdrinkfeck yes, maybe with eq 😘
That's great way , to take the limits of what the speaker Can and Won't do..

Why does the FLi logo look like FU?
Oh my god! I saw that too!
