Edward Elric if you’ve ever played on the server Spawn ends at around 2000 blocks away from 0 0 and it sort of grows over time 4000 is super close in my opinion there are tons of abandoned shacks farms and stuff a base that close lasts at most a week before it’s discovered and griefed

As somebody who has played for around 8 years now, I like both, this was because in the old days everyone knew each other and it wasn’t as disastrous as today. Yes I know everyone was toxic but at least I wouldn’t have to go 50k blocks away from spawn without my base being found within a few months. However the server was one of the most unstable servers I’ve ever played. This almost made me quit altogether so thank god that the systems were upgraded. Also since there was so much negatives and positives due to the server at the modern 2b2t and old one such as the fact that one has to wait hours in queue to get in (took me hours to get in once even with the bought queue) and also the fact that people have managed things that others may never have even given a thought to trying out because it was just so difficult to accomplish 2b2t is truly one of the most influential and greatest servers in the history of minecraft.
It seems just like SS13 before and after the mandalore/sseth player overflow, before everyone on the stations knew eachother, but after the playercount was greatly boosted and every role was filled and more servers were available, both were great times to be had.

In my opinion it doesn't matter, it's an intresting server, and people will continue making majestic builds. And a very diverse community, it makes the server unique and wonderful. The server even has its own ecosystem of players, I know many people who made friends on 2b2t. It is a fantastic place and I can recommend it to everybody. Try it.
2b2t is honestly so damn interesting, like all those weird structures you sometimes see, destroyed stuff, just makes you wanna know how it happened..
