She is the prove to me that "the academy " awards are not just about acting and talent, how come Actress like Jenifer Lawrence have so much credit when Dakota Fanning just goes unnoticed, she was a fantastic kid actress, she played such difficult roles brilliantly at such young age, and still as an adult has such a strong presence on screen.

the thing with her is that she hasnt worked a lot after she reached her teen years and 20s, since she went to college in new york, and focused on other things too, yet every year she had at least one movie coming out and in those cases it was always indies with unknown directors and those movies dont get a lot of attention in award circuit

the biggest projects she did after a long long time were probably once upon a time in hollywood and the alienist, hopefully shs gets more and more interesting projects in the future. she is obviously very respected in the industry, just hasnt done big things while jennifer at the same time period has worked every project with huge directors which puts her in a very high position and she even stopped acting for a while

Dakota is so pretty not only by appearance. She seems to have such a down to earth open friendly and wise accessible character. It feels like you could just talk to her for hours about everything when you would accidentally meet her. Well if she was not a celebrity and already everyone wants to claim some time from her. So in another life :) Anyway she seems a great person. Anyway I would love to meet her parents. Dakota and Ellen seem to be such nice and happy persons. I give her parents great credit and respect for raising them the way they did.
