Wireless charging isn't a big deal for me. It's always so much faster just connecting it then wireless chargers. Also I kinda want to hear my surroundings, have you seen this world? I'm not tripping on noise cancellation part either.

@ardentlytech I just bought them before watching this. Works great for me. They don't fall out. No problems for me. To be fair I don't know all the technical terms for better earbuds. I'm simple. My phone can be charged wireless but after learning about how it works and it's restrictions I'm good on just fast charging on my oneplus charger.

Mine don't sit as flush to my ear as yours and flare out quite a bit. I also think the hook is too short (for me) but the buds still are secure. The hook being a power switch makes no sense to me and is aggravating that the buds power off every time I need to remove it for whatever reason. Touch control is ok but prefer physical buttons like my powerbeats pro any time. Sound and calls are ok.

    • @ardentlytech

I purchased some Samsung Galaxy Buds+ a few years ago & get so annoyed of them, because they keep falling out of my ears, so I'm looking for something that has the over the ear hook. Can you completely disable the touch controls through the app?
Main problem with endurance peak 2 for me was that in rainy weather when having a hoodie or some other headwear it would trigger the touch controls of the earphones (especially when its windy) which is super super annoying.

I’m going to be honest here. I have tried both and these are not better than the Powerbeats pro. The controls are not good at all on the JBL. JBL is also not very comfortable. I also didn’t like the lack of bass despite having an equalizer that I felt was pretty much useless. The good thing was the ambient noise control, but that’s about it. With the Powerbeats currently coming in at $70 more expensive than the JBL, I am willing to pay that for more comfort, sound quality and easier control of the buttons.

    • @ardentlytech
      @ardentlytech  6 месяцев назад +1

Love this! Thanks for sharing this comparison. I haven’t had extensive experience with the Powerbeats but glad to hear they are still worth the price tag! Also it may just be the size of my ears but I definitely remember having ear pain with the Powerbeats and none with the JBLs but I def think that’s just gunna vary depending on each persons ears. Thanks again, super insightful, hope they make an updated Powerbeats soon

The problem mine now, after getting them for Christmas this past December, is the right earbud has less sound than the left. When at work I keep the left off because I need to be aware of my surrounding more while listening to podcasts. If a angle it with my hand I get more sound. Thought I was going dead but I switched to the left ear and it’s the same thing. Any suggestions will help.

Short term i think it woud help if you change where the sound is louder. In the jbl app you have a slider where you can change that. It wont be perfect i think, but it will hopefully suffice until either warranty gives u new ones or u buy new ones.

I will say personally, I’ve had Powerbeats pro, JBL Endurance peak 1, 2, and just got the 3 today, I prefer the JBL better, they’re smaller, more comfortable, better seal in your ear, and as stated in the video- a fraction of the cost. The Powerbeats did connect more seamlessly but tbh for what the JBL Endurance Peak 3 offer, I think they surpass the Powerbeats a little better.
I haven’t used the powerbeats since 2021 so my memory of how they performed is not the best, I had the Endurance peak 2 from 2021-2023, tbh the whole Endurance Peak series are my favorite TWS earbuds

If you're interested in some of my main points between the two. The JBL Edurance Peak 3 are great in comparison but the Power beats pro have larger drivers so they will get a bit louder if that matters to you. On the other hand the Peak 3 have amazing amount of battery life that comes in if you need that and I do think they feel more comfortable than the powerbeats pro over a longer amount of time. 10 minute review without a mention of sound quality of an AUDIO product ... not coming back to this channel lol

Sorry to disappoint it did some how slip in this video, but I do mention I'm not much of an audiophile in all of my earbud reviews so I don't think my opinion really of great value in that department. But to answer the question I failed to answer in this video: imo they sound pretty balanced overall, bass isn't over the top imo but some people have complained that it doesn't get loud enough, I didn't have that issue. Hope that helps.

I do wear contacts mostly but I did try them with my glasses, and they did better than expected. But I know some people who have also experienced otherwise. Hope that might help a bit

A little disappointing??? These things are garbage. They are uncomfortable. They sound weak, lack any warmth or bass. They also have no volume. JBL should be ashamed of themselves. I hate them.

LOL, JBL peak3 suck. Very low volume and very little bass. There terrible. Worst set of esr buds i had in years. Stay far far away.

Really interesting, mine got awesome volume and good sound quality. Is that maybe bad quality control from jbl or maybe ur phones bluetooth doesnt really match? I saw many bad comments, but havent had problems so far.

They should turn off when you put them back in the case. I don't think they shut off anyway else

Hi again i got mine and im sending them back because you cannot raise the volume up and down from the peak 3 Bluetooth earbuds while on a phone call ...you have to pull out your phone to do so and its not loud at all i got 29 dollar earbuds thats louder than these...so that is why i will be returning them. And yes i downloaded the app and made all of the allowed adjustments and i still cannot adjust the volume up and down from the peak 3 Bluetooth while on a phone call....why? Thanks for your reply

Yeah absolutely unsure why they removed that feature from the previous model. With the endurance peak 2 you could easily swipe up and down to control volume. But now you can make it a control with a double tap or triple tap but that doesn’t feel as intuitive.
