Ok this actually makes that scene make more sense. They should have kept it in. He told her to do hypnosis. She does… then he seems upset after she does. NOW KNOW why. Sheesh.
Yes. I think so too because earlier in this episode she tells him how he told her (in the pilot) that finding the truth in regards to Samantha and his memories around that was the only thing that mattered to him. This is him telling her his own memories are not what matters to him anymore..he’s pivoting to finding the truth about what happened to Scully and protecting her ❤️
@@carladuizit5018 I got the individual season box sets back before they started making the DVD cases thinner. When you live in shoe box apartments, that's too much storage space for a show you're not that into anymore. I gave them to my friend about 5 years ago. Oh god, I just remembered I originally started collecting the VHS box sets. Imagine the space it would have taken if DVDs hadn't taken over the market.
@@izabelleabreu9746 The individual season DVD box sets from like 25 years ago. I did have a few VHS box sets too, but those didn't even hold a whole season so I replaced them with the DVDs.
@@carladuizit5018 I had to move and the ones I had were the bulky individual seasons. Didn't watch them enough to justify the storage space so I gave them to a friend of mine who was much younger and whose obsession was fresh. Edit: I remember replying to you before, but I'm having a real problem with my comments being shadowbanned.
Welcome to the club!!! I watched as a kid when it first aired and I love seeing new people get into it! And I hope you get the box for season 1. It’s perfect
This scene is soooo good! They should have kept it. And now , when I rewatch the episode I find myself thinking “wait. Where is that scene ??”, only to remember that it was cut and saw it here ! 😅 P.s : I neve fully got the line “nothing else matters to me”. Does he say this because of Scully or because of “the truth”?
He is determined to prove the government abducted and experimented on her not aliens. It's a part of the series (a short part) where he loses his faith in his belief in aliens and is convinced the government and the military are behind it all.
For a short period of time they did until season six. Then the "space time warp" snapped back. Thankfully, 'cause I don't want our Scully to be a believer, she rocks the science.
Oh my God! I havent seen this all those years. And I needed to see it, desperately. Thank you so much for uploading.
Thank you for uploading. This is the kind of writing they needed in the revival.

Nothing else matter to me now……Jesus he will do everything to protect her❤️❤️❤️Thank you so much for uploading it
That’s what you think he meant? Good to see someone else does to. A lot o people think he was talking about finding the truth.

I love she watches him walk to the elevator and damn near cries at his commitment to protect her.
I watched this thinking 'I remember this scene, it's not deleted'. Then I remembered I used to own the box set and I was obsessed with this show.
Why don’t you have your box set anymore? I still have all of mine and rewatch them from time to time 😅

Thanks for uploading! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Could you please add subtitles as you did in other videos? 😊
I have the DVDs (missing season one) for this series but I can’t find the deleted scenes for it.
I’m a newbie to the x-files & it’s very addicting.

Both - nothing else matters to him than finding the truth of what's happening to Scully.
That actually makes the scene even better
He is determined to prove the government abducted and experimented on her not aliens. It's a part of the series (a short part) where he loses his faith in his belief in aliens and is convinced the government and the military are behind it all.
How could they delete this?
Seems as though they switched roles

Season and episode?
Season five, episode 14
