If you truly took the best black bass anglers in the world, Team USA should never lose this event. The talent gap is even wider than the dream team olympic basketball team. On an off day the Canadians/Japanese stand a chance but if it’s truly the best from each country the US should dominate

How do people throwing big fish around with no respect end up on a team USA spot ? How the sponsors have no issues with that ? And why even put that in the video to begin with ?

It's such a great format and if it ever makes it into the Olympics it would be incredible, but there are 2 MAJOR hurdles… The cost for equipment!
Olympic Sports are based around them being purely about the athletes and their athletic ability. The only sports that carry a significant cost are in the Winter Olympics… Curling, Sled related sports, Ice Skating (some skates are insanely expensive), Skiing, Snowboarding, among others.
Bass fishing… Let's just say that bass boats are absurdly and insultingly overpriced these days, and I say that as someone who has built boats for many years. The electronics are insanely overpriced, and for olympic competition I think FFS should be considered an aide and should therefore not be allowed. A competition of this caliber, comprised of supposed "elite" anglers means it should be a competition that relies purely on ability and knowhow.

Kind of obvious it’s just a marketing scheme with your daughter “qualifying” (really?) for this event . Call it the Pan America Martin Challenge” instead… seriously scott.
