When considering applying for graduate studies, whether for an MS or PhD, ensure you hold a first-class or upper second-class degree. Independence is key; take the TOEFL and GRE exams and secure three recommendation letters from your college professors. Once you apply to a US university, your application is routed to the Graduate School. After completing all required materials (official degree certificate, GRE and TOEFL transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and application fee), your application is forwarded to the respective department.
Upon confirmation that your application has reached the department, familiarize yourself with the professors' names. Regular communication is vital; if feasible, reach out daily. If you've authored research papers, share them to showcase your interest in a particular area, aligning with the professors' research interests. අක්කේ මම BSc Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering graduate කෙනෙක්. මට Aerospace Engineering masters එකක් කරන්න ඕනෙ. හැබැයි GPA එක 2.65. But මට industrial exposure එක තියනවා almost 5 years. මම undergrad ඉන්න කාලෙත් part time company එකක relavent field වැඩ කරලා තමා experience හදා ගත්තෙ. ඒ exp එක හින්දම graduate උන ගමන් මෙහෙ company එකක හොද position එකක් අඩු වයසින් හම්බුනා. මට advise එකක් දෙන්නකො schol එකක් දාන්න තියන eligibility එක ගැන.
ඒවගෙ program එකකට නම් scholarship එකක් හොයාගන්න අමාරුයි.
