I'd like Sonic to really make a go of it in either Melty Blood or Under Night In-birth II because even if they are somewhat similar to Skullgirls, they also offer different characters and also their own styles as well. For UNIBII I could see Sonic really liking Hyde, Vatista, and Hilda. For Melty Blood TL, I could see it being anyone really.

Spectators and casuals wanna see wild shit. They unfortunately don’t care for stuff like footsies and screen control. As for the competitors, they will adapt and get guud regardless. MKs biggest problem is that they keep reinventing the wheel for every game rather than just sticking with what works and adding some slight mechanical changes/additions like SF and Tekken. In the final game of the Grand Finals, I think you guys made a big mistake by cutting ScorpionProcs escaping Kotal's f2 string with the stage interactable, and then punishing it with a 400+ dmg combo. Many in the crowd did not realize what happened in that interaction, but that was a 200 IQ tech.
