UserDetailsService is fetching the user from db but where actually password comparison is happening? please explain Answer: We are passing BCryptPasswordEncoder in SecurityConfig class. It will hash the plain text and compare it with database password

The security filters should have intercepted the request first, right? Didn't see that during debuggin?
