Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! In the meantime I'm just gonna keep making videos anyway no matter the subcount ^^

    Non racist elves? Wow

I know, it's crazy! Then again, wood elves are pretty open minded too, just more reclusive ^^

Nah, they all pretty much kill Drow on sight, like other non-Drow Elves.

if moon elves are the most common... then why is this only my second time hearing about them? the first being a vampire in hoard of tiamat. i thought they were a dead race with only the vampire surviving do to me never hearing of them until then XD

Very good question and I would say that is because players tend to gravitate towards more exotic elves.
High elf, wood elf, dark elf... these are all a lot more "niche" and "interesting" to play at first sight since moon elf share a lot of personality traits with more common races.
Though if you dive deeper into moon elf, you can make them really stand out as well!

@@Doublezone yeah that's probably part of it.
I haven't explored a lot of official modules, do they appear a lot in those?

@@Doublezone Technically moon elves ARE high elves, they share that title with their near opposites, the Sun Elves, though I think Sun Elves are what people tend to imagine when they hear the term "high elf", since they hold that High and Mighty attitude befitting the title lol. So if you hear of a high elf in a Forgotten Realms story, there's at least a 50/50 you're dealing with a moon elf. They just both tend to get lumped together as "high elves", and I think a lot of people don't look very far into the lore before playing, so many may not even realize there are two types of high elf. They're talked about in the high elf section of the player's handbook.

@@raicantgame6634 Oh I never looked at it like that but that makes a lot of sense!
But yes a good point on the high and mighty bit hah, that's kind of how my thinking defaults as well...
