EC Metropolitan 1st class Prague - Budapest Trip Report with CD

Welcome to my trip from Prague, Czech Republic to Budapest Hungary. I used the Eurocity operated by CD. You will see the stations, the train and a lot of window views. The journey was in april 2024. I used my Interrailpass for this trip. Normal first class tickets for this trip are available for around 50€.

As a frequent traveller on that line, some of the information was incorrect in this video. Pardubice is not the first stop after Prague, Kolín is, and Nové Zámky is not the last stop in Slovakia, Štúrovo is.

Yes I like the METROPOLITAN really much. I used the Bpee²³⁷ coach because it's the most comfortable for me.

At Brno that was not a privately operated train. It is just that all the Brno area local trains which were locomotive and coaches to Tisnov and various other place were replaced by these modern EMUs about a year ago.
