It’s called a slew ring. The bench looks fantastic and it’s a great addition to the shed. I would recommend no spray paint on the bench as well 👍🏻🏴
Be nice to find a stainless restaurant countertop with a sink, at the recycle store as an ad-on. Clean place to set drip dry things after they come out of the solvent cleaner. Bucket underneath is all you need to drain into.
Enjoy the channel, I like your "accent" in a land down under!!!! We are about at the end of our summer and yours is beginning.......We are several days from the fall "equinox" (equal length days and nights) Northwest South Dakota is where I am located. Still trying to finish up some haying, there is some thin second cutting but might leave it, dunno......I am tempted to cut it because hay (alfalfa is worth about 200.00 a ton, USD) Do not have very much probably between 5-10 ton.
Matt and Brad if you don’t like the welds on the SS i suggest getting a rotary brass or SS brush for a drill and a polishing kit from Bunnings and some compound also and just brush them then polish them and you will hardly see them.
I am an insomniac so I always watch your vids(usually) in the middle of the night or wee hours of the morning. I think time difference is about 17 hours.
Make sure you keep an extra bearing around for the bottom of that auger. They tend to go out on an annual basis because of the wet grain that accumulates at the base....or maybe you are more diligent at removing that stupid cleanout plate than i was lol.
Hello Matt , I see You Guys are not right up there with WH&S , with Crash Bang Brad on the forklift and that sling looked abit dodgy , I don,t know why You never used a length of good old Baling Twine , Bench is good enough to eat off and floor must be due for a new paint job ... Cheers still love Your work ....
I've been learning a new language from Kurtis over at CEE....the auger is no longer "munted". The floor held up to welding pretty well....but were those oil spots I saw? Thanks for the video!
Been spending again I see the tapping stick looks rather new. Old saying if you carn’t find them gears grind them lol. Shed extension 6 metres bet it turns out to be 12 metres
Tell you about those brads while Nero fiddles don't worry about the 45 that bench will never be used it's an art piece it's not to be scratched and nocked about ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Just wondering, I imagine the screw of the auger is in constant contact with the housing, at least on the bottom side...why doesn’t the housing become red hot as a result of the friction when in operation ?
Hear about the Welkers... brad is on the you tubes.. I can't bend down that's a bit procarious.. 🤣 you buggers and us kiwis are 2 peas in a pod but one of our accents gets us more shninny in the USA and it aint aussies sorry to say. Have worked in America.. aussies went home with each other, Poms went home on Austin powers jokes and us kiwis went home with girls with name's like Shelby etc.. it's a fact.. go NZ
butt join all the way on the bench... i reckon you were ocd on the lillte T's on the end of your painted lines on the floor. even painting lines. it all ads up to a much nicer looking place... but that aint in the spirit of agricultural, the crop is all that needs looking nice.
Great job putting the auger back together guys
Great putting the flighting guys

That is a workbench to die for!! Superb. And the mitred corner is......well its the right way to do it 😅🎉
It always amazes me the amount of different skills that just a few blokes have! Farmers are amazing people.
Another good day of working and you all do it so well together

Thank you! It's fun watching the things you do on such a large farm!
Bench looks fantastic. Bench End is cantilevered 😊

So clean it looks like a butcher shop, I wonder how long before the next BBQ
Brad was just having some private time with that joystick on the blue auger . 😂
Hey! Canadians are Canadian, don’t lump us in with those folks to our South.

😂😂
Good video team ,the bench looks bloody good
I think that auger repair is the first time I've seen you "send it to town".
Haha I think straitening an auger properly requires skills we do not possess 😂😂
@@thejacksonbrothers Matt, the fact I think it's the first time is a testament to the epic skills that you do all have. Awesome.
G'Day to you from Texas
Dam good job mate
Just put some picking pase on the stainless welds .. Will bring them up like new.. 👍
Looks good
Very good Video 👍 👍
Canada calling. We are not American. Trustme.

Well - now you really don't have any machines out of action. Whatever will you boys do with your days while waiting to harvest hehehe

Car manufacturers adhere roofs to cars so gluing is probably the way to go

Sounds like the liner in the mig lead is going bad or dirty...
The augers need to be that long so they will reach the top of silo and the auger flight will not touch the barrel when it is augering grain
Matt is Mr muscle 😂
Re the auger, if it’s Canadian or American at least it will be better than Chinese, quality wise
Just wondering, I imagine the screw of the auger is in constant contact with the housing, at least on the bottom side...why doesn’t the housing become red hot as a result of the friction when in operation ?
Once grain is in the auger it doesn’t really touch the sides👍😁
Stop picking on us across the ditch, cousiys.
Haha it goes both ways😂😂
So what is the differance between New Zealand and Australia, other than a little bit of saltwater?
Why do those augers need to be so long.
Because the short ones don't reach the top of the silos.
Well now I know. @@einfelder8262
USA, USA ! :)
