Looking at Wemby's last block on Zion, Westbrook is a prime example of how to drive to the hoop with a big man waiting in the paint. he would attack the chest of the bigman with his body and use the opposite hand to finish to avoid getting blocked. Attacking the chest and body of the defender would also prevent him from gaining full momentum to jump for the block.

I know this’ll never happen but hear me out: Draymond Green to the Spurs. He’s a veteran presence which they need. He’ll unlock Victor the way he does with Steph. And he respects Pop more than Steve Kerr who he seems to see more as a peer than a coach. He won’t pull the same antics as he would at GS.

Spurs were just trying too hard on offense, overthinking and making things hard. Several times guys cut and they just needed to make a simple drop off pass for a teammate and that's an easy two points. Wemby was open for those a few times, but he wasn't the only one. They bailed out the defense of the pels and allowed them to get out on the fastbreak easily, which typically negates Wemby even though he has been amazing defensively since moving to Center. Hopefully they can highlight this stuff in the film session, because they gave up some very easy shots for difficult ones. Also, need to make free throws in crunch time at the minimum.
Very keen of the Spurs to put a giant basketball phenom on the floor to distract the defense and open up contested shots for the rest of their garbage roster. Didn't work tonight, but it's only a matter of time.

This is the SPURS PROBLEM...EVERYONE WANTS TO BE THE HERO! Nothing but 1 stinking pass to Wemby with 2 minutes to go?? Spurs players have to realize give the ball to your biggest asset!!! On the flip side of that Wemby has to establish himself and demand the ball down the last stretch of games. More ball movement and less hero hail mary shots fading away or flail at the rim.
