  • Back when the weather was still nice we took out our twin Austin Healey 100M's for a nice drive through the city. The white and blue car is a 1956 Factory 100M and the white example is a 1955 dealer prepared car. Hi,
Thanks for adding this interesting video which has brought back happy memories of over 40 years ago. I bought an 100/4 in showroom condition; brilliant red; brand new Cinturato tyres fitted; it came with spares; a brand new alloy front shroud and chrome bumpers; I sold the spares so hopefully another big Healey survives; I'm pretty sure the reg was EEB 88. I paid £150 cash for it. I ran it for a while but found it expensive on petrol; being in the UK it was a RHD. At speed with the hood down the interior used to fill with dust but it was a wonderful car and looked absolutely gorgeous; the sound of the big bore exhaust was something else. In those days I was still single and enjoyed changing my car on a regular basis many of the cars now true classics but in those days I bought a 3.8 Jag for £35 and a Mk9 Jag for £30 all these cars suffered from a healthy thirst of fuel.
    Kind regards, Colin.

Shazam can't find it. Could you say how the music is called?

I didn't know that 1st gen Austin Healeys came with guillotines where the windshields were supposed to be.

They could tilt into the racing position

I'd rather hear the roar of the engine than useless music.
