This year for us (the Israelis) the Eurovision song was different, it carried a large baggage of emotions. This was a beautiful cover Kfir and a great tribute. Thank you.
But you shouldn't have participated in the first place, neither in Eurovision nor in European sports competitions. It's not a political matter, you are just not in Europe's continent. You're in, only because of sponsors' money. Same goes for Australia.

No. Israel participates in Eurovision because it is a member of the EBU. And Israel has been participating since 1973, long before the sponsor of the competition was an Israeli company. For the same reason, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan also participate and in the past Morocco participated. You don't seem to know the rules of the contest

You mainly talked about Eurovision, and you commented on a video that refers to Eurovision, so that's the main part. Anyway, the same logic applies to sports games. In football, for example, Israel is a member of UEFA (again, along with other non-European countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan) and therefore participates in a European framework. This has nothing to do with money. There is a matter of geographical proximity and cultural proximity.
