I feel like no one that covers Metal really gives Hardcore any love. It was such influential music for me growing up in the 90s. This is another band that took the Hardcore scene by storm. Glad to see they're back!

Necrotic Nick- I cut my teeth on hardcore around the same time as I was getting into metal. Victory Records stuff like Strife, Integrity, Snapcase, Hatebreed and ton of others all had a huge impact on me so I still like to cover hardcore on here.

Dude so you talk about the album and break down the songs, yet you never touch on one of the best ones? The Prophets Of Doom. The first minute and a half are a complete disguise. They do a 180 at 1:45 that blew my fucking socks off. Truly amazing stuff.

Necrotic Nick- Probably slipped my mind. This album had a lot of solid moments on it.

@@thrallsofmetal For sure. Sorry if I sounded like a jerkoff. I was just itching for you to mention “Prophets”.
I agree, this is such a banger of an album. The more I listen to it over and over, the more I love it.

The aesthetics and subject matter seem more in line with APMD. My favorite is still Endnote but Kevin Baker said this current version of Hope Con really begins with Death Knows Your Name.

Necrotic Nick- I get that feeling as well. I mean, they've always been angry but this has a bit more of that darkness that APMD brings. It's hard for me to say what my favorite is at this point but I'm still a big fan of Death Knows Your Name though it's been awhile since I jammed that one.

Necrotic Nick- I'm "hoping" they do a full on tour at some point.
