Dan, this is another of your great videos! Given the high quality and lack of availability of this game (Rumble Nation), I recommend picking up "Sequoia" instead as an alternative. While reviews of the latter suggest that the game is rather light and lacking in substance, I recommend playing Rumble Nation (RN) with the Sequoia (SQ) components instead (square tiles shuffled for a random layout). In lieu of the RN board, the SQ square tiles can be reconfigured to recreate the RN layout, albeit without the special power cards (latter, I would argue are not necessary). With 1st place area control captured by points on the square tiles (and white leaves for cascading), the 2nd place points could be reflected with capture of the circular tokens, regardless of color. What do you think?
if you're going to delete comments on your videos it would be nice to at least respond first so as to give a brief alert/reason so that we know not to in the future. Just wanted to help people play this obscure game by sharing one of the easier ways to get it. I like your videos but this left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
@@ChairmanoftheBoard ah well then it's I who owe you an apology. It's just that twice I posted a comment about how I'd managed to buy Rumble Nation from amazon japan and how it was very affordable. Out of curiosity checked for responses the next day and each time the message was gone. Perhaps it didn't post either time for some reason on my end, or some other reason.
Other RUclipsrs I follow have talked about this. RUclips sometimes deletes comments. From what I've heard comments with links are more likely to be auto-deleted/not-posted to begin with There might be a setting also on the content creator that adjusts how strict the algorithm with their auto-deleting. But YT seems to always be updating things, so that might be old information by now.

Yeah this makes sense. I suppose the great thing about Rumble Nation is that it's one of the easiest games to counterfeit.
This looks great. Hopefully this will come to the States in an English language version soon.
played it in 2p over the weekend. not sure if it's a keeper for this player count as tie advantage seems too strong. what do you think about this?
Yeah I wouldn't even consider playing it with 2 tbh
If you end up wanting to part ways with it, I’d purchase it as I’d love to let our group try this and it’s hard to get a copy here in the US!
Great review! What type and size are those dice? I like to add something similar to my version of Rumble Nation.
I'm not sure sorry. I bought them such a long time ago
@@ChairmanoftheBoard No problem! Thank you for responding. Keep creating great content and have a great day!
Seems interesting! Now I wonder how to get a copy :S
It remind me a bit of King is Dead 2nd Edition, which one you prefer?
I massively prefer this over The King is Dead.
@@ChairmanoftheBoard I'm wondering where you got your copy, cause Im french and I would love to get this one!
I got mine from Philbert :)
I've seen people call this 'El Grande light' - do you feel that's a fair/accurate observation?
Not really. Having the most cubes in a zone is about as far as that comparison goes
That cascade feels like a large swing.. the bar is gonna be high for my opponent.. I can see my girlfriend never wanting to play this.
Reminds me of an uglier yet mechanically superior version of 8 minute empires.
Read the rules. This game seems superb at 3 or 4.
It absolutely is :)

Apologies I don't know what this refers to? I don't recall deleting any comments.

Yeah I certainly wouldn't have deleted that. I've only deleted like 2 comments ever. Very strange :)
