Thank you for all your well wishes last week - they really made a difference!
As soon as I felt better, I went for a walk to one of the local beaches. It is always a joy!
I also made Festive Apple Chutney and some more Autumn decoration for our Seaside Cottage.

Apple Chutney Recipe
500 g Apples
1 TSBP Oil
1 Cinnamon Bark
2 parts Star Anise
4 Cloves
1,5 TBSP Ginger
1/2 TSP Red Chili Powder
1 TSP Ground Cumin
3 TSBP Brown Sugar
3 TSBP Sugar
1/4 TSP Ground Pepper
1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
Peel the apples (you can also use them with the skin) and cut into dices.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and add cinnamon, star anise and clove. Fry for a couple of minutes. Add ginger, chilli power, cumin and fry for another minute.
Add the apples, sugar and vinegar and cook on high heat for a couple of minutes. Add pepper, cover and let simmer until the apples are soft.
Store in a sterilised jar and enjoy!

Hello Kirsten 🖐. I agree with you and I think kindness doesn't cost anything. Unfortunately, we live in times where some people spread some hate on the internet, but wouldn't dare to do it face to face. I also think it's not only words that can harm one, it's also how they can make you feel with their behaviour/actions. I think a bad spoken word from a loved one can hurt more, while it's not the same if it comes from a stranger, it's different (at least for me, but it wasn't always like that). Beautiful decoration. You know how to make a cosy home. Thank you ❤️

Wonderful decoration and so true words in the beginning. Love your Scottish accent. I am a fan of Ireland, but Scotland is still also on my list. They say I've got an Irish accent 😅. By the way I play Irish and Scottish music with my guitar and sing. Just for myself.

Thank you for the recipe. I would have enjoyed a walk like you were on. Too hot for me in Florida. Hope we will get some cooler weather soon. We are expecting a tropical storm or hurricane by Wednesday. I live in Central Florida. Somewhat prepared. Love your decorations. The tree came out beautifully.
