This was extremely fun to watch. I always loved it when your character would find themselves in a dire situation and then get saved by their own comrades. Always made games feel more alive.
This is officially THE best SFM I've seen so far, so many references to MSA and the original MS games, I saw Veronica, Caroline, Allen o Neil, Red Goblin, the Kraken, many MS familiar scenarios, Yoshino, Black Hound and man... Wish there was a way to like this more then once. The animation quality was perfect for capturing the Metal Slug games. There also was enough of the ridiculousness that you would find in those games too. 10/10 would watch many more times before getting bored.

By the looks of things this video contains enough assets (Walk cycles, models, weapon effects, etc.) to make the level we see. It just needs to be slapped in unity and given some code.
Why isn't this actually a thing?? It's perfection!! Also, nice touch on the soundtrack, using Speeder from Metal Slug 5 on the Jeep section was a perfect fit (I love that one!)

@@IchiroProjectile i guess its fine for each characters specialty of em Fio is a specialty to carry much ammmuntion than the entire regular commandos and she gets the H the super heavy machine gun as a starter since her revolver is lacking damage as for Eri is a specialist of grenades since her grenades can be a devastating blow to the enemy and she can get as twice when picking up grenade pickup crate she is known as the Memphis Bomber Princess and i love how clark have his Ikari Warrior squad since he was a Major

Well if there's anything I'd dislike in this video, it's that I prefer the announcer voice as well as several sound effects from the earlier series. Still, the quality you put out here outweighs that opinion of mine. You've got some very interesting boss/special enemy/super-vehicle designs that still retain that 'Metal Slug' feel. Very good use of the soundtrack from the series too. Keep up the good work matey.
dude you made this so like metal slug and added quite a few things that we would see in the metal slug. I own the first 6 games of this for the Wii and this has several areas that bring back the fun of the metal slug games. and all the Easter eggs in the metal slug games
