Thank you for this great video! I've struggled with horizontal hearts...not getting a good donut hole. But I tried using the shaping tool like you show at 00:25 and 00:45 , and wow! Great donuts! I'd never have thought to use it that way. Thanks again!
Love your videos. I am a fellow lampworker. I love that graphite tool you use with the grooves to help shape your beads. Can I ask where you purchased it?
Yes, I have had several people ask about that tool - - I got it from Arrow Springs. It's under their Shaping Tools section - - called the Kim Cylinder, Cone & Vessel shaper.
Jeannie Cox awesome! Thanks for reply. I had found similar but not exact shapers. I really like how this one is designed. Appreciate you and your videos!
Hello Jeannie Cox :) I would like to ask you a question :How you fixed your torch on the table ? Because I am going to equip myself. Thank you in advance for your answer !
Thanks - - - I just have my torch clamped down with a C-clamp. It could also be bolted down through the holes in the base, but I wanted to be able to move it easily.

Thank you for the HEART video ! I now know why my very first heart lacked shape & definition. I'm a lefty too. :)

Can I ask what cutting tool you use? I am looking for the type of razor blade you use. thank you
Hi, it's just a regular Exacto blade in a holder - - from any craft store. It's just an all metal one.
thank you!
