Great video. I've been in that "lost" headspace the past two years as I've questioned my identity and tried to determine who I am. The thing is that I've always looked at queerness as an external thing. I've been supportive and protective of the community, but this is the first time as an adult I've really looked at it in relation to myself. Figuring out my orientation (asexual) was easy-er but gender has been a lot of unpacking that's lead me to some interesting corners. I think what holds me back is in part finances, support group, and the political side of things. I recognize how much could change if I told the wrong person that I've even had those thoughts. It's maybe why trans and non-binary joy warms my heart so much. I love people who live confidently and candidly. The Elliot Page interview with Oprah moved me so deeply. I continue to support trans creators and do what I can to understand their journey. I don't know where mine is going, but I've found that being open and listening has made it much more nuanced and worthwhile. They're some of the kindest people I've discovered and it pains me to see them get marginalized just for being themselves. Thanks for the video and Happy Trans Day of Visibility to everyone. I hope, if nothing else, that it's a good day with a little something to make you happy.
Working out who you are is so tough. It’s the folks in the ‘lost’ camp that visibility helps the most. I wish you all the best in your journey. And if you need solidarity and community there are lots of us around who are happy to chat about this stuff (the blessings of the internet lol)
EDIT 3/4: Caption fine-tuning complete! Sorry again for the delay. (ALSO.... THANKS FOR 500 SUBSCRIBERS! It's an absolute delight having you all here) EDIT 1/4: Captions published. I still want to make edits for sentence structure but all the words are there and are timed correctly. Stand by for further fixes. OG POST: Apologies all, captions are still incoming. Normally I try to have them done before uploading but made an exception this time to get this up on TDoV. Expect them in the next couple of days. As a caption user myself I know how annoying this is. Very sorry! Please bear with me
We changed Autism Awareness Month to autism acceptance month so that would be a consistent change haha And for sure! Just FYI frogs won’t actually behave like that if you put them in boiling water but like… it’s a well known story and it fits which is why I used it and if it works for you please do use it too!
Excellent video i watched on FtA today, thank you Artemis for this. It really felt impactful to me personally 🏳️⚧️ (also the tdoa story was very cute 💜🤍💙)
you are a seriously underrated channel, thank you for making these videos
There’s always pushback when the slightest bit of progress is made. But we won’t sit back and take it. Great video, and love the message.
Damn right we won’t!
Thanks for watching 💚
I'm here from F the Algorithm, but I was surprised and happy to see Australian content. I'll definitely be checking out more of your content.
Hope you enjoy what you find!
thank you for this video! the frog analogy really resonated with me
Thank-you for your comments! The frog analogy is not real for frogs but gosh darn does it ring true for some parts of the human experience!
Here from F the Algorithm! I’m excited to check out more of your work!
Welcome! I hope you find some things to like 😊

Btw this video is amazing. I really like the 2 Artemises talking to each other.
I often talk to myself so it’s not even entirely fictionalised 🤣
Thank you for the video!
Maybe Transgender Day of Acceptance? Also, mind if I use the frog thing because that's totally it.

Omg I did something almost similar! I announced my new name on TDOV! (preferred name, not legal)
Shared name-iversary!
