The definition of legendary. If you could do any one of the tricks in this edit, which one would you pick? 👇
I like the part where he made the trick look super easy and smooth
...oh wait. That was everything.
Too many, if I actually put the time in to decide, my room would look like a police evidence board
@@Spance-er 🤣🏆
Skating past 35
this part is unbelievable - but if I have to pick: the BS Lipslide from the shallow end of the pool into the vert wall at 01:49 would be my choice.
It seems so casual in the line of bangers - but you need so much skill and boardcontrol to do it !
Just to imagine the drop, from a bs lipslide in this concrete vert monster corner, scares the hell out of me...
I feel like you can't truly appreciate vert skating until you've stood at the top of an actual vert ramp and looked down.
For real man its terrifying
you can learn to drop in on a 15 foot vert and then do it 10 times that day, feeling confident. but when you come back the next day it's suddenly scary again. just the way it is.
True I leaned that fact at 17 yrs old
Truth
Biggest cheer I every got was from a bunch of pro's back in the day when I first dropped in, terrifying, big breath and drop. Slamed hard but made the second attempt.
That one-foot grind was jaw-dropping. What a legend.
Bob decided to never stop progressing. That was simply mind blowing.
My mind doesn't get blown that often but that one-footed smith did it for me 🤯🤯
Completely unreal.
I heard the THPS special noise in my head
that was crazy, un-freakin-real....
Going FAST too! Unbelievable
my jaw opened in awe...
Legitimately one of the most psycho things I’ve ever seen! Bob Burnquist is beyond legendary.
Totally insane!!!!!✌🏻✌🏻
Then he's around 50 years old,I hope I can just skate down the street when I'm 50.
@@jeffreymoran6234 He’s 45.
@@jeffreymoran6234 I’m 46 and just started boarding again. 😂 Never felt healthier or freer than I do now. Missed it
And the man’s 45 years old
Bob Burnquist and Kelly Slater proves that age is just a number. There's only one way to thank both of them if you skate and Surf.. never stop
I remember his 1 footed smith grind was his special trick in THPS. Now he's hitting it on the mega damnn
Lol same
I thought the exact same thing.
Tried one on a mini and it ended bad lol
Mind blowing at the speed he’s doing at tweeking it out like he did. Insane.
He had to of downloaded the perfect balance cheat
Bob's balance is truly a thing of beauty
Hippie jump to front nose grind in a pool is some next-level insanity
some good stuff, son
One footed
...and defies physical principles
Incredible ender
I feel like he's already done that one before.
Amazing that Bob is STILL killing it at this level. Legend is an understatement. Perfect musical accompaniment too.
What is this song? I dig it.
@@ToddLoaf Radiohead - I Might Be Wrong
@@noenaame2856 Thank you!
Yeah man. I would never have thought this song would suit this type of clip.
Perfect though.
"What are you doing, Bob!?" - X Games 2001.
Still one of the most iconic commentary to this day.
Yes dude, it was straight 🔥🔥
There were multiple moments in this edit where i thought ive never seen anyone do that on a skateboard, what a legend
Bob Burnquist and Radiohead, made my day.
Yes! I would’ve never imagined this track for a skate part but it works perfectly
What is the song called?

Wow, a childhood icon still killing it after all this time. Truly an inspiration. I might be wrong.... (but I'm not)
I might be wrong...but I've been watching this dude shred since 1995. His skillset shifts, grows, and defies his age.
Well done to Bob and the editors/producers of the video!
I'm picking up what you're putting down
You're not wrong. I first heard of him when he came out of nowhere and won the Vancouver Slam City vert contest in 95. He quickly became my favorite skater in the world and much of my own skating was modeled after and inspired by both Bob and John Cardiel. Antihero in the mid 90s was legendary and untouchable. I'll always love Bob.
First heard of him like most people who were kids with a fresh PS1 or N64.. Him being on THPS1 and the footy they used made him look like a super hero to me.
@@jptothetree You're pulking what he's pulling?
I had some 411vm's and I think it was an Anti Hero vid... every single trick kept progressing in the strangest ways...blows my mind.
This is a man who has dedicated his life to his craft. Absolutely commendable.
It’s crazy it feels weird to see something this wild without one Red Bull logo lol
more refreshing than a redbull
Bob has been team rockstar for years
@@Wouldpkr Yeah, Skill>Money
I love those rail transitions to the giant quarter pipe. That one footed grind was beyond insane too.
This is legit making me think Bob should really come up more in discussions of Skateboarding’s GOAT. The dudes been in a league of his own for 2 decades now
No one can compete... insane legend still to this day
Many can compete. They just might not win. XD
The thing I love about skating over all other sports is it's equal parts art, creativity and talent. Like painters flying through the sky building a masterpiece on a run.
Bob has always been and continues to be my favorite vert skater. Dude is legendary and still pushing it. Amazing part. Mind blown.
Bob Burnquist & Bucky Lasek vert doubles still gives me chills.
I forgot that this was the best transition skate part ever filmed in history of skateboarding. My mind is thoroughly blown🤯
This is new footage
no it's not the video is 13 years old
@@driftkinganeezy yeah I realized that after
Hands down GOAT! Thank you to Bob for his dedication to his craft.

Ending was a banger!! What a legend of a skater
I said it as a Kid & I said it as an Adult. Bob Bunrquist is A Legend. Nothing but Love for the Man ❤👍💯👑
It's good to see that some of skateboarding biggest names in skating are still getting recognized for how truly good they are. We're talking almost 20 years now and these guys are still putting that time in for that one perfect trick.
was lucky enough to take part in a random little skate camp in SD run by Bob when i was a kid. what a great dude. signed everyones decks and just knew how to have fun skating and it was infectious
Best vert and mega ramp skater to ever do it. What a legend!
Elliot Sloan is in the same league IMO, although in fairness this stuff wouldn’t even exist without Bob and Danny.
MY GOODNESS!! What a legend. Who else is doing stuff like this? Not a soul. Keep it up, Bob. I am in awe.
The grind never stops for Bob. He's always pushing new boundaries. What an absolute legend!
This dude must be immortal. He's been skating since the mid '90s hell I can't keep up with my sons in my forties.
Bob is a different kind of beast. My mind is blown
he still got it!!! youre the man dude
Man knows how to fly. Few tricks made my jaw drop completely.
The guy is an artist. It's beautiful
Always breaking barriers, such a legend.
Although I’ll always love skating I don’t follow it or skate daily like I used to, I had no idea Bob was still rippin like this, he still skates like he’s in his prime what a king 👑
When you are a true master of your craft, nothing you do is truly "mind-blowing." It was beautiful to watch a master work.
He just keeps getting better, I don’t know how you do that but he does. Absolutely insane. 🤯
The trucks hitting the cooooopppinggggg and rails is music to my ears!!!!!!
He's still RIPPING!!! Makes my 34 year old self want to pick it back up even more. Can't wait to get back on .
Hey man I just started back at 32 3 months ago . I didn’t skate for 4 years after a gnarly ankle injury. You have to get back on the board! It is a part of true happiness
Bob Burnquist - levels above anyone else!
Don't fall for this SPAM account guys 👉@OfficialTheberrics 🚫
The vert skill is insane
Then street tricks into this crazy transition is from a diffrent planet
Then the fact that he in the game forever n still doin this kind of progress is inspiring to the max
Amazing to watch ❤️
As heavy as it gets
💪💪💪
the slo-mo helps you appreciate how absolutely incredible Bob is.
This was too savage
idk how Bob Burnquist can STILL shock me with the things that he does. I've been watching him my whole, and STILL.
Damn near God-level skateboarding right here. Simply amazing work, Bob. You make it look too easy, yet terrifying.
That last trick was a cherry on top. Damn
Insane!!! Legend.. 🤟🙌
This is absolutely mind blowing…so many bangers
Watching Bob at his best brings a tear to my eye. Like watching hendrix or SRV play. Like Gretzky or Jordan play. Like watching citizen kane and realizing it changed everything that came after.
He's not even in the legendary category anymore.... He's achieved a God level and it's amazing, I'm so glad I was able to watch him his whole career since I was a kid and he's only gotten better and better w/ age.
Bob transcendeu a evolução do skate vertical! Lenda viva 🚀👽
Bob is the GOAT when it comes to big vert/transitions/pool skating. The guy is STILL insane.
Damn Bob always amazes. Song choice is on point too👌
Literally everything he did was massive! I'd be happy to pull half this stuff on a video game. Unreal.
Não me canso de ver a evolução e manobras do Bob, a 25 anos acompanho o Skate e não consigo entender como essa lenda do Skate consegue surpreender a cada aparição. "The definition of legendary."
isso foi 13 anos atrás
Every trick in this part was the most gnarly thing I’ve literally ever seen. This is a level not yet reached by man.
Bob é um monstro revolucionário do skate!!! graças a DEUS tive o prazer de conhecê-lo pessoalmente.🙏👊
WOW! I didn’t know Bob was going this hard still! The front smith on the highbar with his back foot coming off and still pulling it was so dope!
Wow. And I thought this guy was close to retirement. Bob B just gets better with age. That one foot was NUTS!

If you ever see Bob skate in person, you'll never forget it.
I love daewon and his part was sick but in a contest of transitions Bob is the goat. Above Tony or Danny or even the new school kids, Bob is best to ever do it and this part is no exception.
Tony? Danny? Sorry, but don't you ever mention them in the same breath with this guy again. And I'm from the 80s; I don't even really know this Burnquist kid.
But Tony Hawk is a skateboarder: maybe one of the greatest, but he's just a skateboarder. Danny Way is a little more than a skateboarder. But this? This!? This is beyond mere skateboarding. This is something else. I don't know what you call it, but it's a different thing altogether.
@@CIWise Hawk had laid the foundation for what is vert skating today. Way took it to a bit more modern and technical level and conceived taking it onto a bigger stage: the mega. Burnquist just pushes everything to the brink of disaster. Holds on to the gnarliest stuff risking great bodily harm. Danny was always the more solid powerhouse of a skater but Bob's sketch is actually aesthetically pleasing, especially when he pulls things off that he has not business making
@@PAG11105 Yeah, this was more a joke on my part than anything else. Like I said, I'm an 80s skater, so I grew up on Tony and Danny. But this kid Burnquist? He's in a class by himself.
@@PAG11105 None of them got shite on Christian Hosoi!
@@marcoemilianodellacroce5068 Notice he's the only one I didn't mention.
Damn this is badass. I love how he has implemented street into his style over the years.
Burnquist put out a new video part?!?! This deserves being watched on the big screen...
It was a re post of an older part for the berrics
It's from 2015
How this dude keeps skating at this level is impressive.
One 5-0 from the Big Jump gave me Goosebumps
Brings me back to the 90s when I was watching x games and dreaming of being one of these guys, man does time fly.
One of the best parts ever. Not many parts will make your jaw drop but this is in that category.
LEGEND
I've watched this part 4 times since last night. Bob is still on his own level.
My original first favorite skateboarder back in 1999. I saw this guy's footage in THPS1, way before I started skating and was just mind blown. Amazing to seen him better than ever over 20 years later!!!!!! No words
Been following this guy since my childhood and he's still out here absolutely shredding it
Ffs that was so buttery smooth, what a legend. One of my childhood heroes. Awesome 👍
One of the greatest to ever touch a board, big thanks to all he inspired and all he's done for the sport. An incredible soul.
the one-foot grind actually sent a shiver down my spine; the years of practice that goes into making it possible
How is this guy still killing it. Literally insane.
This is the greatest part I've ever witnessed
Geez, I haven't gotten excited about a video part like this since Fulfill the Dream came out. Well done. The music is super important too, nice choice.
this is out of this world. this guy is a legend
Wow. As a street skater, this has to be the most amazing video I've ever seen. And my new favourite
My uncle's wife used to live next door to Bob where he has his mega ramps in Vista CA. I actually got to go over there and climb on them and see them in person they're absolutely insane. You really get a scale of size for it when you've stood on them and then watch him do what he does on it
That man is indeed a machine.
Good people, next level, Independent tricks and obstacles. I love skateboarding. Bob is his own style. I really can't compare him to any other skateboarder. Keep doing what you doing... Nothing but love and respect, sir
Bob Burnquist.. Haven't heard that name in 10 Years. Suprised this dude still has got it
The precision, complexity and scale of these tricks is beyond compare.
next-level skateboarding is beautiful to watch
I'm 45 years old. If I seen this as a kid, I wouldn't thought it was magic. Great video.
He is an absolute legend. Always was my favorite when I was a kid. It blows my mind he's doing stuff more gnarly than when he was in his 20's.
50 years from now, I’ll still look at Bob as one of the best transition skaters of all time.
Big Bob Burnquist will always be my favorite skater to watch.
He’s killing it !!! . Glad to see bob pushing the envelope my man keep living your dream
Dude is 45 years old throwing down absolutely bonkers tricks. Amazing
Honestly forget all of these crazy kids, and crazy new generation pros, Bob burnquist is always at the highest level of skateboarding to date! He always sets another bar higher 🙌🏼 love bobs skating
Mind blowing part🤯 Bob's skating is simply amazing and unique. This part is on an other level.
