Great video. Patti is such an amazing artist! And I love Of Monsters And Men, saw them live and they kill it! Isley Brothers! Nektar! So many killer albums. Cheers
Enjoyed the video. Also liked the throwback on Wrestling at the Chase. Enjoyed going there as a kid. Lots of good memories with my older brother watching and going to see the matches
Indeed! Those were great times!!! :) It was cool bc of course this was before wrestling was huge and there was a coffee/donut shop right be the studio where they shot it and the wrestlers use to hangout there all the time so my dad would take me there and I'd see Rick Flair and all the guys all the time lol.
Amazing. Have you heard of these gospel groups, The Art Reynolds Singers, The Staples Jr. Singers, the Daytonians, and the Salem Travelers? There's a lot of music artists Jefferson Starship, Amnesty, Pablo Cruise, Herbie Mann, Cloud One, Stix Hooper, Black Ivory, Shades of Love, First Choice, The Sisters love.
I've heard ot Reynolds and Staples. Can't say I've heard of the Daytonians or Salem though. Will have to check them out. Gospel wise my favorites are The Gospel Keynotes and Mighty Clouds of Joy. :)
Of Monsters And Men, I have that one too. I was reading Tim last summer, the book about Avicii. And he reslly liked Little Talks, the trumpets. I guess that’s why he used trumpets in Hey Brother.
I had all but forgotten about The Sundays. That Creedence comp may be my favorite comp of all time for any band. I have a decent amount of stuff from the Isley Brothers; love their funkier material. Ooooh. I’d love that Midnight Oil on vinyl - only have it on CD. Ok…now you’re just showing too much good stuff too fast. Lol. Great video. Thx for sharing.
Man, you have varied taste in music! I wish I liked a wider variety, but I'm a metal-head that can't get into too much else, other than some classic AOR stuff like Journey, Foreigner, Survivor that I grew up with. Actually, I do like a bit of Adele so there is that... Cheers
Berlin is an underrated band imo. I think it makes sense putting Patti Smith under punk because of her attitude. Nice copy of Green Onions! Just listened to that CCR compilation. Pat Benatar 🤘. I’m not a big fan, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen that Molly Hatchet album. Sometimes I’m in the mood to listen to Donna Summer. Great voice. Love me some STP. Nektar and Kenny Rogers, you never know what Brandon will be spinning. I love the Ozzy song “I Don’t Wanna Stop” ! Some awesome listens here and great explanations on what you like about them Brandon. Bangles rule!
Fantastic eclectic mix of spins. You mentioned Green Onions was a nice pressing. Which pressing was that, please? Also, that's my favourite Free album, a classic. Black Diamond.
Thanks my friend! Yeah, that Green Onions is not an OG. It's a 1968 US Pressing. It's just very, very clean which is always awesome. Condition is of absolute top priority for me in my collecting \m/ Keep it spinning!! :)
I'd love to have copies of those warrant LPs I see on your wall, but I refuse to spend $60 on record's I already have on CD! LPs in my opinion is the better collectable format, but like I said "sixty bucks?" Nah!😮😊
I hear ya man! Vinyl today has just gotten so out of hand. I count myself very lucky that I got crazy into vinyl years before this resurgence. If I recall I think I got that OG Cherry Pie for $8 back in the day lol.
Kris Kross! Hell Yeah!! Love your vids man!! 🙌
Thanks man!! \m/
Very nice collection! Thanks for sharing. Love Molly Hatchet. Take Care!
