i like how el blanco might have known humans were smart so they came to them for help on purpose
I absolutely HATED what the blonde doctor, the dude who was sabotaging Perfection (Forgot his name but I don’t really care) and the Graboid Rights leader did to El Blanco by poisoning him just to “prove a point”, which makes them hypocritical, the leader and doctor are lucky that El Blanco was cured or else they would have been in even MORE trouble than they were already in for poisoning him

Exactly, like Nancy said, instead of doctoring the research, they doctored El Blanco, and they have the gall to still say that Perfection was having a negative effect on him? He would have been fine if they didn't show up
This shows el blanco came to them and begged them to help him which shows he cares for the people who protect him as he saved them and if there was a season 2 then it would have shown him showing more intelligence and love
El Blanco willingly "beached" himself, he exposed himself out in the open so anyone he can be helped

The premise is that graboids made it onto the endangered species list. They need to leave El Blanco alive if they want to be allowed to continue living in Perfection.
And the fact el blanco is actually a rare type thats sterile.
El blanco is rarest type of the species he can’t reproduce so his life span is longer
It's an exchange; El Blanco's sterile, so there's no threat to him developing into Shriekers, and as long as he's alive, Melvin (from the first film) can't build on Perfection because he's a protected species. They let him live, he drives off any potential real estate vultures.

El Blanco's a wild animal that cannot see or smell and can only rely on his hearing to hunt prey. He operates mostly on instinct. Now, graboids are intelligent enough to learn from their mistakes and avoid such mistakes in the future, so chances are whatever they did to attract El Blanco to poison him won't work again. But it'll likely be a long time before El Blanco figures out all the sounds related to human activity and learns to avoid them entirely. Not that he has anywhere to go; Perfection Valley is a massive box canyon, he's pretty well stuck where he is.
to add onto SMB Comix: Graboids are only stage in their life-cycle, the next stages involve the Shrieker and then the Ass-Blaster. However El Blanco is an _Albino_ Graboid: virtually-sterile and can never undergo the Shrieker Stage of their life-cycle.
@@0hvist Sorry I'm late, but to clarify: being albino doesn't automatically make one sterile. It's a lack of skin pigmentation, passed from parent to child; chances are El Blanco comes from a long line of albino graboids, shriekers, and A.B.s, but is the last one in his line because of a condition that makes him sterile. I'd love to see El Blanco appear in the new movies, or at least have it revealed what's happened to him since the TV series got cancelled.
You have to admire townsfolk who are willing to pull together to save a creature that would just as soon eat them as look at them. I hated and loved all those monsters at the same time. Crazy!

Those people better get the hell up on those roofs, the second El Blanco starts to feel better he's going to burrow again and he's going to start looking for food. That large a crowd would basically be the graboid equivalent of bobbing for apples.
Maybe not; remember, sufficient sound is also enough to hurt a graboid. Chances are a human stampede would overload its sound sensors and cause it to flee. Besides, Burt carries concussion grenades for just such an eventuality.
And even then it's el Blanco I think he knows not to mess with that many people

The graboids in tremors movies all created and some of the movement of graboids are Using VFX uff then only this thing looks real

The very thing they have killed they are trying to save. He is my favourite graboid because of how unique he is
I just had an idea on how to fold in Lavalacula and Sharknado into the Tremors franchise and create one universe where Mix Master escaped the valley through thermal vents. Finding out that for some reason the only points on the planet that the creatures of Mix Master avoid are the bedding places of Graboids. Meaning Perfection is one of the last safe places in the world.
It would bring back the Perfection cast as well as the other franchises, i.e. Sharknado and the like. I feel this would make a better series allowing for a blend of the casts to take on diffrent missions around the world, allowing for multi episode archs, separating stories and characters, with the question, Why Graboids?
Creating a leagacy franchise for all our Cult Classics.
I can already see it in my head and how to involve everyone organically into the storytelling.
I also have a magnificent way to create a legacy show for Sliders, involving the old cast (even season 5 cast) and a whole new group to follow picking up the mission to save the Sliding Universe once and for all.
Too many great possibilities not to want to do it, especially with the talent in cgi we have now.

Sooo, they actually like El Blanco?
He's essentially a Graboid that's state-protected, and is less hostile than the other Graboids outside of the town. He CAN still attack humans, but he's always monitored so that they can ensure people can evacuate before he attacks.
I find it adorable how their caring for this le blanco

It's CGI on a tv budget in 2003. Of course the CGI isn't going to be as amazing as seen in most movies from 2020 and after.
