I like the technique, but I would make it more Greek style: first confit grape tomatoes and garlic cloves in plenty of EVOO, low and slow. When the pasta is almost done, add the confited tomatoes and smashed but still chunky garlic cloves, along w/ dried oregano and dried mint. Add a block of good feta (i.e., sheep and goat milk), broken up by hand, baby spinach, and grated lemon zest. Mix until the spinach is wilted and the feta is melty. Then add halved kalamata olives and thinly sliced scallions, and give a final mix. Top each serving w/ the EVOO from the confit along w/ pine nuts toasted in the oil.

@@messyludo1269 That's not something you can disagree on haha, it's a fact broccoli only takes a few minutes. If you prefer it overcooked, of course you can cook it longer xD That's a personal preference, but the broccoli is fully cooked after just a few minutes.
Something interesting to note: cooking it longer will actually cause it to break apart and lose many nutrients.
Fun fact: Eating it raw, however, is actually quite healthy. Though I wouldn't enjoy that on my pasta either.
