Thank you for sharing. Yours is the first Inkscape video I've been able to understand because you don't go too fast and give clear directions. It's a basics video, but it is a start. I've tried to play with Inkscape before and never have gotten too far. I think it's because for many producing videos on the subject it's a very familiar program already. They zoom through the steps and don't have clear shots of just what they are clicking on or sometimes its just hard to understand.

Thank you! That was very helpful! You were nice and clear and not too fast! I look forward to more videos on how to manipulate the pattern pieces.

I'm a new user and this is really valuable! Thanks. Now I really hope to learn how to make some standard adjustments like lengthen/shorten and FBA. Hope that's now on your agenda!

Great news! And yes, I do have a couple other tutorials for Inkscape. A lot of times the ease of adjustments depend on how the designer formatted the pattern.

That was helpful, thank you. Interested in seeing how to manipulate in order to add length to pant legs and sleeves.

Thanks for the video. I'm already projecting, but I haven't done any changes to PDF's beyond what I can do with PDFStitcher. I need to start making changes, though. I'm going to start with just unfolding pattern pieces.

Thank you for this video on Inkscape. My concern is that my screen didn't look like yours. For example, when I open a new document the white part doesn't fill the screen like yours did. Also, I don't have that row of icons you used to rotate the pattern near the end of the video. I still haven't been able to separate or ungroup the individual pattern pieces. However, I will keep trying. You were very helpful.

I'm not sure why your working screen isn't filling the entire area. The toolbar at the top can be toggled on and off by going to view>show/hide>tool controls bar.
Ungrouping, for some reason, often needs to be pressed more than once. Be sure you have the selection highlighted and then press shift, control, G all at once. Wait a few seconds. Repeat if necessary
