Thank you Malvinus for the awesome demo. Perfect for me, mine came today! Lol. I hope everything is going well in Your world 🌎. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
I am having big trouble with the sequencer. When recording live (not step) the sequencer doesn't record my first note. It seems you have to absolutely perfect on the timing of your first note or it doesn't get recorded. There also seems to be no "Note Wait" option where the sequencer begins when you press a key. And if you are recording more than 16 steps, once the sequencer goes through the first 16 steps nothing is indicating where you are on the other 48 steps. I have sat for hours trying to get a sequence and failed. Compare this to recording on my Roland Fantom sequencer where I have no problems at all. Quantize is set to 77% on my Fantom. I don't see any quantize settings on the Gaia2.
Instruments like the Gaia 2 are not thought for use as sequencer and stuff, imo. They more like "Hey, here's a bunch of Roland sounds you can afford and take around in its tiny form factor". Thanks for sharing!
Cool. Looks like this will be my first synth for my dawless system. Is it also possible to set custom modulations, like have the LFO control the pitch, or the velocity modulate the cutoff?
Absolutely you can save the sequence with the sound patch. Regarding making other videos, I sold the Gaia 2 because mine is a small channel and I need to save up for new purchases so at the moment I won't be able to make more detailed videos on the synth, sorry. Thanks for stopping by!

Unfortunately I sold my Gaia 2 and don't remember. But I'm on the fence of buying It again, Who knows :-)... Thanks for stopping by!
Great! Have you tried to control VST Instruments or other gear with step sequencer? It is possible?
No, I never tried, sorry
a good video. a detailed video about the sequencer would be good. can you save the created sequences?
