- Day 7 working on the home gym/bunk house while also getting ready for Hurricane Michael to hit us in South Alabama. Getting gas for generators, digging trenches for wiring, and crawling under the house to feed the wires up to dad!

There's much to admire in your young womanhood. And much to admire in the way you say your father raised you. Maybe you can showcase him one episode, in a biographical sense. We'd like to know more about him and his influence on your life. Who is he? What is he like? What's his story? Tell us in an upcoming episode. Many of us would like to know what goes into making a girl like you, from his point of view and from yours. Hope you keep it up. Some of us older folks wonder why we didn't have a daughter like you. I know I’m a few years too late but this is the first time I’ve seen this. If you ever have to do shovel duty in the future it’ll save your back if you wrap your fingers over the top and let the shovel roll down your fingers as you place the dirt on the opposite side of the trench. It’s more like rowing instead of trying to push away. You don’t have to reach down as low and you can more easily bend your knees. I was taught by an electric pole inspector that had to dig down below ground rapidly so thought I’d explain it as a thanks for you spreading your infectious smile to myself and others. The socks shot at the fast ending seems to show some fine wood work and grain. Used to use weed burners on floors and wood working to get that burnt grain look if people wanted it for large areas. Close looking to it but can't really tell. Looks good though. Great work for just 7 days!

1 digging tip from one who's dug many trenches...
If you're gonna dig a shovel deep, make the dig a couple to four inches... easier to break through roots, and it holds together mo gooder... helps to keep it in a straighter line too... I admire your spunk... and your love for your daddy... keep on, lil lady...

I used to run a bore rig and put a lot of cable in the ground. And had men working for me and they stood around holding the shovels most of the day. You would of put them to shame! Watching you dig that trench. Got job where was you at when I needed good help.
