Everyone saying she should be happy that he stepped in and stood up for her and saying that that’s what he’s supposed to do doesn’t get the point of her feelings. It is not because she’s spoiled or use to taking care of things herself. The fact is that she felt completely useless because no matter how she was defending herself the other princesses just wouldn’t stop and just kept going at her yet LBY said a couple things and they all just shut up no matter what and didn’t dare talk back or go any further. Shaoshang just wasn’t happy because no matter what she did or said they just wouldn’t stop instead it took someone else to do it.
This whole cdrama series is beautiful. Watching it is never boring. There is flow, even if it is a long story.

Оба сильные личности, но , в отличии от генерала, который выработал силу воли для достижения поставленной цели, а именно, мести за гибель своих родных, девушка выковала сильный характер, напротив, с целью обретения личной свободы и защиты от тирании бабушки и тёти, которые имели над ней власть, в отсутствие родителей. Девушка сказала генералу ясно, что не потерпит власти над собой и не позволит никому подавить её волю!! Она показала генералу, что не из тех, кто ищет мужской защиты и покровительства!!

Because I'm pretty sure that when it comes to power and prestige, he's only 2nd to the Emperor. And favoured by him too.
