Taiwan Issue background for your information
1) In 1894, Japan invaded China and Korea, the Qing govt was defeated and signed the [Treaty of Shimonoseki] to cede Taiwan Island to Japan.
2) During the WW2, at the Cairo Conference held in 1943, China asked the transfer of Taiwan's sovereignty back to China after the war. This content was included in the [Cairo Declaration] and later reiterated in the [Potsdam Proclamation] that it should be implemented.
3) In 14 Aug & 2 Sept 1945, the Emperor and govt of Japan issued the [End War Edict] and [Japanese Instrument of Surrender], Japan surrendered and accepted the [Potsdam Proclamation]. Japanese troops in Taiwan surrendered to KMT General CKS and Taiwan re-entered the territory of the Republic of China (ROC).
4) Soon after that China civil war broke out in between KMT and CCP, the KMT was defeated and fled to Taiwan. However, due to US intervention, the CCP without strong navy at that time has no ability to unify Taiwan. The CCP then established the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949. The civil war continues.
5) In 1971, UN Resolution No. 2758 ruled that the PRC had obtained the representation rights and all legal rights originally owned by the ROC in the UN. That means the PRC is China’s only legal govt under international law and is recognized by 181 countries around the world, including the USA. "The USA recognizes the Government of the PRC as the sole legal Government of China." "The USA acknowledges the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China." Joint Cummunique on the Establishment of Diplomatic relations between the PRC and the USA in 1979. Please refer to President Jimmy Carter's Speech on Relations with China.
6) Therefore, according to international law, international reality, and the wishes of the 1.4 billion Chinese people, Taiwan should return to PRC and the PRC have every right to protect it's sovereign integrity.

@wionl What we're dealing with is psychological warfare right now. I brought up the issue of Russia going into Ukraine after the leadership changed from a female to aale. Psychologically men present more danger than a woman does despite the fact that a woman and not a little girl will kill you in a heartbeat. Some little girls will too. Just like all the ire was tossed at European Royalty after the change from a Queen to a King. A King presents more of a threat. Remember that I brought this issue up due to the history of European Royalty. Every King had their war. King Charles has been tasked to strengthen Europeans back to power once again. However, he is old. There's no telling how many years that we're going to get out of him. Warfare can take it's toll through hardships and stress on an old body. Therefore, should he falter and fall then his successor is tasked to bring strength back to the Royal House. The same is going on with Taiwan. Now that leadership has changed from a female to a male President, the danger presented by a man now being ng in place has presented itself. It's seen by President Jinping as Taiwan is now serious about separating from China. He toyed with the last President. He looked upon her running to The United States of America for help as in a damsel in distress call. This is why he rared up to America over Taiwan. We're threatening him over his property AFTER acknowledging that Taiwan is a part of China and their One China Policy. He wasn't going to mess with Mrs. Pelosi because that was a damsel in distress call just waiting to happen. If anything it was cute to him. Masculinity he is not going to play with. It's like the old saying... Put the women and children to sleep and let the men play. India was toyed with because their President is currently a female. Once all the women are replaced then expect things to get very serious real quick. Zero to 100 real quick.
