Hey NTE, I commented this once before but you may not have seen it. Games on PS2 (with a few rare exceptions) are designed to run at a 4:3 aspect ratio, while modern screens are 16:9 (widescreen). This means that when you record directly off an emulator, the image is stretched out to the sides a little bit. You can see it at 0:07 where the EA sports logo is not a circle, or at 9:35 you can see that the team logos in the top left are stretched out. It should be pretty easy to fix it either in your emulator settings or by your editor in post. Many old Maddens even supported it in the video settings if you look there. But at the end of the day, it's not that big of a deal. Keep up the good work!

One time like 15 years ago I rented this game from Blockbuster and I randomly generated a QB who's dad was a Hall of Fame QB and mom was an Olympic Sprinter. Dude had like 97 throw power and 94 speed.
it's crazy to see how much detail and care was put into these modes, and then you look at a new madden and it's all about online play and nothing works right.
This is the year Tj Finley has improved so much under this new offense he is focused having fun. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is a dark horse for heisman
NCAA 09 and Madden 09 are the first games to feature supersim for superstar modes on PS2 and also has the import player feature. Hope this info can help folks out there trying to do the same!
Love this game and this mode, i had a kicker that was the only person who scored all season. And when i would do the kickoff i was so fast i would also be the first guy to tackle the kick returner, played for the op falcons team.
Pretty sure these games had the super sim feature when your superstar is not on the field. If I remember correctly, it's something you have to change in the options menu. It's not on the playcall screen.
My favorite dad to pick when making my character was "Pro Bowl RB" or "Pro Bowl QB" because those options gave speed RBs or dual threat QBs if I remember right.
