Everyone in the world has been since minute one with the exception of people under 2 servers in the US. He just keeps doubling down with disinformation
Sajam, a good tip I don't know if anyone suggested, play with the rollback settings, the netplay feels silky smooth for me after finding one I like more
Didn't even know they had customizable rollback frames (I assume that's the setting you're referring to)! That's cool although the devs should probably have some kinda popup/marker on the menu so the player can fiddle with it if they're having a bad time
@@nabillun Funnily enough, they had one for the closed network test, it was the first thing that pops up on your screen to choose your rollback setting lol
Some random ass reina tips: -Hold down after hellsweep punch follow up to enter stance at +6, check with 2 followup (safe ob heat engager, big dmg) if they do anything but sit still they die (esp if you're in heat) -Other heavens wrath transitions are after ws4,4 , df4,2 and wr4. Ws4,4 and df4,2 transition is punishable on block, WR4 is plus like hellsweep. You can pretty much do it for free when in heat bc of autoparry -Heavens wrath heat smash is a good low for big dmg -FF2 true combos into the kick heat engager (FF2->, 3) -hold forward after df1 to go into spin -No one breaks throws at low ranks -No one blocks f1+2,3 at low ranks -Play Heihachi
That Paul's lag at the end was the lack of VRAM, lama stage eats almost 8 out of 8GBs of my 4060ti and 1 time out of 10 it lagged like that at the start too. Don't buy 8GB GPUs folks. Even something like Elden Ring is not using as much as Tekken 8's main menu btw.
Reina's design is so funny She doesn't strike me as someone on a mission to take down Kazuya Mishima She looks like a streamer with a badgirl aesthetic
One thing is if you are moderately far you can do ff n d df which lets you dash into the crouch dash, gives you a little extra range if you think you might whiff
Are you on leverless? I've been trying to grind out the electric input for Reina but it feels really hard on my leverless. Honestly I'm having some trouble with her qcf power up inputs too. Maybe I should switch back to pad until I get my fightstick built.
something I've found helpful for EWGF is floating my right hand index over to the forward button and using the index on my left hand for down. It really helps with nailing the just frame because the forward~2 is on one hand
I’m not saying another controller won’t possibly help you out but I think electrics are easiest with leverless. You literally just have to put in the time and practice- it’s not gonna come over night or even over the week for that matter. It’s a constant cycle of improvement and practice.
If you're not brave enough to commit to using the punch button on the place of the up one you can put the macro for 3 and 2 on the up button instead, but then you'll need to find some other place to put your up
Don't blame the controller for your lack of execution, no offense. Leverless is far and away the most consistent input device to the point where many people think it's cheating, but you still need to put in the work and practice with it like with any other controller.
Idk what your settings are but I figured just in case someone hasn't bothered you about it yet, you should use TSR upscaling at 100% scale; way better than the default FSR
It's kinda surprising how many bad matches Sajam has had. On my first day 90% of people had pretty good connections and matches ran pretty smoothly. Granted, I'm living in Japan right now so maybe it's just America
I’m still having issues. I have a friend who I can’t play with no matter what. Player matches just get me stuck getting ready and when we go to the same arcade station it never matches us
The game itself has been pretty much perfect as far as performance goes. I haven't played online yet but I've played tons of offline and it runs flawlessly. Now that online is working with a very quick fix, I'd say this launch week is quite solid. Wish I could say the same for UNI2.
At least they added frame data then bro, ion think any FGS had it at the time so without Harada charging us 7$, we woulda never had it free in fighting games now.
@@CapcomSwagg That's made up as fuck. Off the top of my head Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Injustice had in game frame data before that. MK and Inj had released multiple games with frame data at that point.

I think people don't know how to describe the netcode. I mean the game has netcode 'settings' which appear to be exclusively client-side which is already confusing to somebody who isn't super familiar with netcode, and you've got twitter telling you that 3d games can't have the same kind of rollback 2d games have.
@@TigBlack7 would you purchase the game again Knowing how the game performed online? I asked because I want to try the game but I’m not a tournament player. Online will be my only real way of fighting real life opponents
Reina I don't know why people admire her except for the fact the game advertised her like the appeal character and the Tekken Fans were like "I love consuming Advertisements, I will take this gift and will not keep the horse on the counch"
What about UNI2, though? If it works, the game needs some love from the top tier fg creators (not just JWong). It's a cool game and letting peeps know if PC is fixed will help it gain popularity. I guess I should make some time between college assignments and boot it up and find out for myself.
